Great pillows, I sleep great... But, help me understand, why do you use an extra-firm foam in the medium size, instead of the same medium-firm in the travel and small sizes? They are all clearly Tempur material, but do not say they are the same because I own all three and they DO NOT feel the same! Travel and Small sizes are the same slightly pliable medium-firm feel that conforms almost immediately and is more "cozy" as a bed pillow, but Medium size is EXTRA FIRM, much harder to the initial touch and takes longer to conform so is less "cozy" to sleep with. I sleep on the medium because its size is correct for me, but given the travel size is the same size but consists of the cozy foam, I prefer the feel of the travel. The medium does soften up after a few weeks of use, but still noticeably different.

I could never find one that gave me the appropriate support for my neck (while back sleeping) and shoulder (when side sleeping). The Tempur-Neck solves the problem for both areas. I take it with me when I overnight with my kids and grandkids.

I bought the contoured pillow because I am a side sleeper. My neck was really starting to bother me, to the point of not being to turn my head. I purchased my first 2 pillows 10 years ago. I've traveled the world & walked through many airports carrying my pillow. (It came in it's own carrying case.) I will never sleep on any other pillow. I use to suffer terrible neck & shoulders pain throughout the day & while trying to sleep at night. Not anymore, not since my first purchase 10 years ago. My husband also sleeps one one every night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of the first-generation TEMPUR-Pedic mattresses and neck pillows back in 1996. My memories are of one stinky but comfortable mattress and pillows. I couldn't sleep on the mattress for almost a week because of the strong and awful chemical odor. I had the windows open and walked on the mattress a couple times a day in an effort to get rid of the smell. It did finally subside, and I got around 12 wonderful and restful years of sleep on the mattress. I've since replaced it with another brand but kept the pillows, which finally wore out, and I replaced them with another pair of TEMPUR-Pedic neck pillows. Sadly, I was really disappointed when that familiar stench hit my nose as I opened the package. I had to hang them outside for a day to be able to breathe inside. It's been weeks now, and the smell has reduced but is still there. I can't wait for it to dissipate entirely, because I know what wonderful nights of sleep await me.

I had been waking up with daily headaches and finally tried this pillow. I'm shocked at how much of a difference it has made... I no longer have headaches and neck/head discomfort in the morning. The pillow took a week or so to get used to and now I love it.

I tried a few pillows of the same shape from other brands online, but none of them even came close to this one. It kept its form and held up so much better! It was pretty firm the first few nights but didn't smell and it settled into the perfect amount of comfort and support. I also move around a lot and switch sides through the night and with this pillow I am comfortable on my side, stomach, and even my back (although I am mostly a side/stomach sleeper). I have some chronic shoulder pain and I don't feel it at all while I sleep!

At first, I felt it was little different from the previous one, softer and slightly lighter. It seemed not what I expected, but after I used it, it has been upgraded. I really like this version.
