I don't have chronic pain, but I did hold a lot of stress in my neck. Since I started using this pillow, my neck has been virtually pain free. I can't even sleep on another pillow anymore. I have added the travel pillow and a king sized neck pillow to my collection, and I can't imagine my life without them!

It was also a little bigger than others I have used in the past, which put my neck and head at a funny angle. Could work for some but didn't really work for me

I love the design of the neck pillows which I have used for years and was looking forward to replacements. I was very disappointed to learn that these do not come in King width. They look ridiculously small on a King size bed and are not wide enough to be comfortable. Why are these only coming in the tiny widths???

After a very serious cancer surgery on my neck, I could no longer get the rest I needed until I found this pillow. After a deep tissue massage, my physical Therapist recommended this Tempur pedic pillow. I cannot believe the difference it , it saved my life. As I used it, my body continued to heal. Now, after many years, I am still ordering and sleeping on this pillow. It is worth every penny & I would not give it up for anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great pillow, but it didn't work for me. I chose the small size because I'm slender and petite. 5'1" 110 lbs. I tried the Medium at a store and it was too high, tilting my neck and not keeping my spine straight on a side sleeping positon. The small however was too low, tilting my neck downwards. I was surprised that the small pillow had a very low side, and a very high side. The low side was too low and the high was too high for my neck. It could be the perfect pillow if the "high side" in the small size pillow is lower. You can see this in the photos in this website. If you need a higher side you could always go to a medium or large... It may work for another person.

I am 5'4", bought the small tempur neck pillow and have been using it now for over a week. I am mid-50's and was starting to have neck aches and headaches more and more often upon waking. Wasn't sure if it was my neck or sinus issues causing the pain but after reading so many positive reviews I thought I'd give this pillow a try. So, first impressions upon opening the box. Wow, the pillow is pretty small! My standard pillow case swallows it. Not sure why they didn't make it "standard" size. However, the smaller size does not affect it's purpose or my sleeping habits although I would pay a little more for the same pillow in a normal size. Next, it did not have an odor and it was not rock hard. I was happy with the density of the foam. After 2 nights, upon awakening, my neck was a bit stiff BUT, it was not an ache. I assumed there was probably a bit of "realigning" going on with my neck. Since then, I have not woken up with any pain! Sinus issues don't seem to be as bad either. The pillow is extremely comfortable and I am very pleased with my purchase!

This pillow is not at all like the one I purchased years ago. The material is rigid and inflexible. I stuck with it for a few weeks, but now have developed serious neck pain. I tried washing to soften, but it turned into a rock. I could have folded up cardboard boxes and had a more comfortable pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Tempurpedic pillow many years ago and I love it and it lasted a very long time. Being a "budget shopper", I tried at least a dozen pillows (some memory foam) before I bought another Tempurpedic because of the cost. I finally realized that if I added up the cost of all those cheaper pillows, it would come out to be a lot more than the price of a Tempurpedic pillow. So I bought another and am very happy. The only improvement I would make would be to make the top flat with no ridge. My head doesn't seem to fit between the two contours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have cervical spondylitis, and I need the right kind of support to sleep comfortably. This is my third purchase through all my adult years - I cannot sleep without this pillow. When I travel I take it with me!

I went into store to specifically get measured so I could purchase correct size. Clerk did not know of how to measure. After I referred her to website a measurement was attempted. Although I laid down for a moment at the store, after I tried it first night, after just a few minutes, I could not continue due to pain in my neck. My pillow was also way too firm (unlike the sample pillow I tried at store>) so now, I am told it is not returnable. I would happily settle for exchange for smaller size, but according to chat help, that is not possible. Now I am out a lot for a very expensive pillow. Never deal with TempurPedic. VERY poor customer service. Who doesn't allow at least a 10 day return? No such thing as full support for their Product. I would have given ZERO stars if possible. So disappointed.
