He thinks his is perfect, but I could have probably gone to the large- when sleeping on my side I sometimes feel like I need a little more support. The first couple nights my husband was raving about how much better his neck felt, but I had a hard time sleeping on my pillow, it just felt way too hard and I kept switching back to my old pillow. After a week or two of hearing how much better my husband's neck felt, I decided to give my tempur pedic pillow a try again. The first couple nights were rough, it still felt too hard, but after that I have slept great! I am definitely sleeping better at night and waking up with less back and neck pain. All this to say- give it a week or so if it feels too hard, eventually it will soften and give you amazing sleep.

I recommend the Tempur-pedic neck pillow because it provides excellent support whether I sleep on my side or my back. The pillow even prodives good support when I switch to sleeping on my stomach.

I have slept on this pillow for over 12 years. My husband uses one now as well. I have a bulging disk problem in my neck due to a car accident years ago when I was rear-ended. This pillow has really helped me with my neck and I no longer wake up with a sore neck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this same pillow for many many years, but now it is only very hard density foam and so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep. Why not offer the two densities? Very disappointed and cannot return it so extremely upset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The promise of this pillow was too tempting to pass up. However, I sure wish I had passed it up. The pillow is hard. This is beyond providing stability, it is simply hard. There are no options so, there's nothing to change or trade in for. I conducted the neck to shoulder space measurements. I attempted to use both sides, use it sideways, etc. I just can't get it to work.

Quality is wonderful, but it has not been as comfortable for me now. Since it is a pillow, there are no returns or exchanges. I may have needed a different size or just different style now but my neck gets stiff some nights using this pillow. The quality of my mattress is probably a component too (my splurge was on the pillow!). Not that I wouldn't recommend these products, just the specific pillow did not create the restful sleep I remember in the past so it wasn't conducive to my neck/body/sleep style. I understand the nature of the product cannot support exchanges but I probably would have tried a different pillow type if I was able to.

Because this pillow has a different shape than the older TempurPedic neck pillow I was replacing, I was concerned that it wouldn't be as comfortable as the original version. I am very pleased to report that my concern was for naught. This pillow is comfortable and supportive and I adjusted to it immediately. Make sure you do the proper measurements of the space between your shoulder and neck as described on the TempurPedic website to get the right size for your body. Love the comfort and no neck pain!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the pillow is working. It's much easier for me to rise from my bed each morning without severe neck aches. I didn't give a 5-star rating, however, since you have to get used to the pillow as it is very hard. After about 6-8 weeks, it isn't softening up like I thought it would.

Having just had surgery on my spine, the top vertebra in my neck, I was concerned about taking care of that while I slept, in light of all the different exercises I was doing to strengthen the muscles that had been severed so that the arthritis in my spinal column might get dug out. I had a similar pillow which I hadn't used in years and I broke it out to try. I was just beginning when my son, a physician, gave me my Tempur-pedic. It could not have been a finer gift.
