I should have dug a little deeper into the specs of this pillow before ordering. I was hoping for more of a queen size pillow by purchasing the 'Large' size, however it was smaller than a twin pillow when I received it. Also the foam is not very dense and is easily compressed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a back and side sleeper with a neck that's been bothering me for years (C5/C6 herniated disk about 5 years ago). My shredded foam pillow had been working pretty well up until the time I started feeling daily neck aches in the morning. I tried adjusting the fill softer and firmer but it never seemed quite right. I decided maybe my neck just needed more structured, firm support than I realized and bought this pillow. Fortunately, it was just what I needed! Between this pillow and my new ergonomic desk chair, I swear my life has changed dramatically with hardly any headaches. If you are searching it is worth a try. It will be firmer support than most pillows but sometimes that helps. I don't have any issues sleeping on it due to the firmness but it did take 1-2 weeks to really get used to it so hang in there my fellow humans with neck pain.

I should have read the description better because I'm a side sleeper majority of the night. These are the most uncomfortable pillows I've ever slept on. I regretted buying them after only one night and tried to return them based on the "Satisfaction guaranteed" on the website. However, I was very disappointed to learn pillows are not included in that guarantee and refunds are not given. This was the first and last time, I buy pillows online.

I assumed the later and was surprised to see a 'short' length pillow. If I had known this I would have probably ordered two 'Medium' pillows.

I figured it was time to replace it, you can see where my head usually rests theres a dent in the pillow, and the cushion is not springy as much anymore, so it compresses down quite a bit. Anyway, since this is so old I didnt know what size I had, i thought there was only one size. But I come to the website and I see there are 3 sizes, small, medium and large. I figured well I'm an adult, so I got the large. When I received it, it was obviously very much larger than my old pillow. I did try it for like 1 night, but it was too large, I went back to my old pillow. I contacted support, and they took some time to get back to me, but they did offer me to get another pillow. I then ordered the medium pillow. I I received it, and it is not as large as the large, but it was still quite bigger than my old. I used it for several days, maybe a week or more hoping that it would settle in. But I eventually went again back to my old pillow. At this point, i found a deal on the small so I figured I'd get this one last try, and i received it and it feels a lot more like my old pillow. The curvature is a bit different, but its ok and I'm sure this one will settle in nicely. I can now throw my old pillow away, Note that the size small medium and large do not reference the length and width of the pillow. It references how tall the pillow is. Your neck will be up higher in a large. the small, medium and large pillows are all the same size length and width wise. The small version has served me well. I will give my medium and large ones to my mom and see if she wants them. thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all the previous purchase from temperpedic, unfortunately this one is not the best for me. I only use it when I have a headache. I prefer my other 4 pillows, which I rotate and I can not do without my body pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to abandon this after about 6 nights of trying it, being uncomfortable, then reading the tempurpedic website and watching videos to learn what I might be doing wrong. My main aim in trying the neck pillow was to see if it would reduce snoring by supporting my neck more, and keeping the airway open. But this was a failed experiment and furthermore has left me with a sore neck. It might be the right thing for some people, but the strong/hard neck support is quite the wrong thing for other people.

I fell on the ice 8 years ago and had to have a discectomy and fusion of vertebra. My pain was so constant and severe that sleep was nearly impossible. This pillow has given me back my life! I had tried other memory foam, gel, down and various other expensive pillows but they were always too thick or too thin. This one is just right! If it could be just a bit less rigid it would be absolutely perfect, but for now it is wonderful!

I bought a queen size contoured pillow after my older one went soft. Unfortunately the new model is more interwoven with fabric and the 'give' is not as isolated, resulting in a less comfortable pillow for neck-issue sufferers. The older pillow would give _only_ where your head lay, while the newer one pulls down an extended area. This means you can't simply shift to a spot slighty away from where your head rested in order to 'reset'.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a large size pillow because I sleep on my side frequently and it does relieve the shoulder pain i was having with previous contour pillows being too soft. I gave this pillow 4 stars because it's not great for sleeping on my back. its too firm for sleeping on my back and holds my head up too high. that could be because I was an in between measurement of M and L.
