[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would suggest getting the medium size, even if you can fit the large pillow between your shoulder / neck / head. Yes, they do indent a little from your head weight, but I find it's not enough and wake up with a stiff neck and/or having pushed the large edge of the pillow out from under my neck to under the very top of my head!

I am a side sleeper most of the time, but even sleeping on my back this pillow is perfect. I have been using one of these for the last decade. I have tried others and have come back to Tempur-Neck pillow. It takes some breaking in but once it gets there it's the best sleep you can get.

This pillow works great for me! I highly recommend for anyone who makes noise at night. I didn't give it 5 Stars because it's so hard and it takes time to get used to.

Originally my order was lost in mail and customer service was wonderful in getting replacement order out. However my emails and order was misleading as I honestly thought I had a trial period. Now I'm told I can't return these or get my money back. Do NOT order these unless you are confident you want an extremely firm pillow!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is nothing joyful about laying your head on this pillow. It is firm, deeply supportive, and unyielding. It has helped my neck pain, but at the cost of the warm, cloudlike comfort one hopes to feel when tucking in for the night. In short, it's like sleeping on a well-tailored brick.

I was really looking forward to these pillows, but unfortunately, they have not improved my sleeping experience. I read everywhere that it takes about two weeks for the neck pillows material to fully open and for one to adjust to the different style of the pillow, but it has been nearly two months now and I am not impressed. Tempurpedic also does not allow returns so please be aware of that before you purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had pain from a pinched nerve in my neck over 20 years ago. A doctor recommended a few things to do and at the end said, "many of my patients have said they find the Tempur-Pedic pillow really helps them". I tried it and had great results. Over the years I started buying cheaper knock-offs and had no issues until I reinjured it. My knock-off didn't help. So I found their website and ordered a new one. It worked wonders. The pain was barely noticeable the first night and the pain was gone within a few days. I won't be buying any more cheaper look-alike pillows.

I have been using this style pillow for about 20 years - replacing it about every 3-4 years. I have tried lots of different pillows and have never found anything that works for me better than this pillow. I use the shorter height one, and I am mostly a back sleeper. When I do lay on my side, and fold a hand towel in half and insert it under the pillow. The newer foam is not as soft as the original foam. And, now that have replace the cover on the pillow which makes the pillow very firm, and it does not work for me. So, I take the new cover off and put a regular cotton pillow protector on, and it works well. The smell is awful. I make the pillow work for me in these ways: I take the cover off the pillow and wash it. I leave the pillow out for about six weeks flipping the top and bottom of the pillow. If the weather is nice, I put it out on our covered porch during the day and bring it back in at night. I know this sounds like a lot of work, and it is worth it to me. If you like to curl your pillow up in a ball (like my husband does), this pillow will not work for you. If you like a low profile to medium profile pillow, it may work for you. Pillows are very personal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased Tempur products for a number of years. The size of the pillows seems to have decreased. That is a little disappointing as I am a side sleeper and liked the extra height of the pillow. Over all I still like the product.
