This pillow is solidly constructed, but it's just this side of trying to sleep on a rock. I bought a large and a medium because I was experiencing a neck/shoulder problem. Perhaps the pillow works for some folks, but for me, there was zero chance that I'd be able to sleep on my side with it. Now if you're using it for support while relaxing on your back, it seems pretty good. But if you're planning on actually sleeping, then I wish you luck. I didn't have any. It's just way too firm and unforgiving for me. Your experience may vary, and again, the pillow is well made.

I ordered this pillow to replace an old one of the same product, which was taken by my brother after he stayed and really liked it. The new one is not made with the same material. The new one is more like a foam pillow in the tempur-pedic shape, it does not feel like memory foam. I really miss the memory foam one.

I have used the Tempur-pedic cervical pillow since it came out originally. I have always useD the medium profile, and I've loved how it is helped the herniated disc's in my neck. The pillows have always been described as firm. But in 2019 it appears you have changed the formula and made the pillow extra firm. The extra firm is just too hard and it was quite uncomfortable to sleep on and had a negative affect on the herniated disc's in my neck. I'm hoping that you will go back to the normal firm in the near future. I have several friends with neck issues and they feel the same, and we have tried to fine the older models. I love your product but I'm really hoping that you will go back to how these were originally made and felt for all these many years before 2019.

It actually made my neck ache, and was too firm for a side sleep as it felt like it was crushing my ears. Also very upset I couldn't exchange the pillow as they have a no return policy on the pillows. Pretty disappointed.

I don't know what you have done with the formulation on your pillows and mattress toppers but it's not the same. It compresses like it's 10 years old, doesn't support my neck like they used to, and now I'm having to put another pillow under it so I get the support I need. Go back to the original formulation.

It would have been better to buy the Tempur-Pedic pillow at a big box store, where I could actually see the size and make a determination about the appropriate size.

I have had lots of headaches associated with neck pain every morning and someone recommended this pillow for me. After using this pillow now for almost 4mths I have no more neck pain or headaches. This is my forever pillow, even when traveling I take it with me to hotels because this is the only pillow that works for me

I had neck pain but convinced myself that it was my body adjusting to the pillow. I recently stayed at a hotel for business for 3 nights. I woke up refreshed and sadly realized that the pillows are a bust. Back to the drawing board.

This was something I knew going forward, but it is worth saying that it is true, and this pillow is very, very small. As to the pillow itself, I found it very uncomfortable. I typically like a very firm memory foam pillow and had used a different brand for about 10 years now. It had seen better days so I wanted to give this Tempur Neck Pillow a try. Even though I like a firm pillow I found this extremely firm; too firm for my taste. I used the pillow for a week in hopes that I would get used to it and that it might soften up a little. After using it for 7 days, my neck was hurting and my sleep was suffering because of it so I stopped using the pillow. Unfortunately Tempur has zero return policy on any pillows, so I'm stuck with this pricy, unusable pillow. Both my wife and daughter gave it a try as well, but they too found it uncomfortable. I realize the reason there is no return policy, but it does make ordering a pillow here a risky option. You can't try it out, and if you don't happen to like it, you're out a significant amount of money. Again, I knew all of this up-front, but didn't expect the pillow to be this uncomfortable. I'm back to using my 10 year old pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this pillow for my children (ages 8 and 10) because they complained that their old pillows were "too flat and floppy." In that regard, these Tempur Neck Pillows are phenomenal. The contours help support my kids' heads and the pillows do not go flat. (I purchased a pillow very similar to this for myself approximately 14 years ago and it is still holding up extremely well, so I feel confident that these pillows will also be long-lasting.) The only downside is that because these pillows were purchased for my kids, I used their measurements to determine which size to buy (which ended up being medium, I believe) and didn't realize that the smaller pillows are not the standard pillow size (I thought the overall pillow size would be the same, just with smaller contours). The smaller pillow size wouldn't be THAT big of an issue, but I have not been able to find a pillow case that fits it appropriately (I've had to finagle a standard size pillow case in such a way that it will cover the Tempur Neck Pillow without being too big, but it is a hassle to take on and off when washing and I've accidentally ripped the pillow case a few times trying to do this). Overall, I would definitely recommend this product, but I would also recommend buyers double check the size dimensions of the pillow they are considering to ensure it is the actual size they want.
