[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a new neck pillow to replace an aging neck pillow that I received in 2007 with my original Tempurpedic mattress. That pillow had started to wear down and the neck crease had worn down to the point it wasn't giving my neck the support it needed. I was waking up with headaches. So I ordered a new set. I was excited to get two for the price of one. However, this pillow is NOT the same quality as the old one from 2007. In fact, when they say "extra firm", they mean it. This pillow is as hard as rock. It does not conform to the shape of the neck. In fact, it doesn't conform at all. It is rock hard and very uncomfortable. My headaches have only gotten worse and now I have neck strain on top of it. I would definitely not recommend this neck pillow.

It would have been better to buy the Tempur-Pedic pillow at a big box store, where I could actually see the size and make a determination about the appropriate size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had neck pain and facial pain due to TMJ issues for years. A massage therapist recommended this pillow to me. I didn't think buying a new pillow would solve all my problems, but I was desperate enough to try it out. The first few night and mornings sleeping on it were rough. But things imperceptibly improved until one day I woke up and went about my day and realized my neck pain was gone! It was amazing! Buying a new pillow didn't solve all my problems, but it did help in a very significant way! Another thing that's impressed me about this pillow is the way it doesn't bother my jaw when I sleep on my side. It might be the softness or the shape, but my facial pain in the mornings has greatly improved. Worth every penny. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

Since buying my tempur neck pillow I have not had any pain and no subluxations or chiropractor visits. I wish I had purchased this pillow years ago. It is worth every penny!!

I am using the larger end for my neck support.Slowly breaking it in to become a little more form fitting for my neck My husband found it too firm. Once I soften mine , I will pass it on to him Then I will have the second pillow for myself

I haven't used the pillow yet because it has a very strong chemical smell. I have 3 Tempur Pedic mattresses and pillows. I have used Tempur Pedic for 18 years and I have never had any problem with smell on any of their products. It's been about 6 weeks since I aired out the pillow but it still has a bad smell to it. I hoping soon I can use it since I can't return it. So disappointed since I love my other Tempur Pedic products .

My husband & I purchased our very first Tempurpedic pillows 20 years ago. After my husband tried a number of different pillows from other manufacturers, we decided to go back and get 2 new Tempurpedic pillows for each of us, these 2 large neck pillows. After the first night, I thought it might be that the large was just too tall for me but my husband's was too hard - not really contouring to him according to his shape/weight or not really being memory foam as our original ones used to be. Thought maybe it was just too high for him as well so we ordered a pair of mediums that very next day. Sad to say, the issue was indeed the foam not being as contouring as the original ones, and we're just very disappointed with the quality of the memory foam Tempurpedic is making/selling now. We also had a Tempurpedic mattress 18 years ago but we're definitely not going to get another one from Tempurpedic due to these experiences. In a matter of 2-3 weeks, 4 unusable pillows & a week of neck pain later, no more Tempurpedic for us.

I have been using this product for well over two months. I wake up everyday with a stiff neck. I followed the instructions for measuring what size to purchase and purchased a medium pillow, however, I think it raises my neck to high which causes my neck pain. I think a small would have been much better. I am very unsatisfied with my purchase.

I originally bought one of these pillows many years ago on the advice of my chiropractor. It eventually wore out and I was in a hurry so I just bought a conventional pillow at a local store. I went through several regular pillows and still I was having neck problems. I finally pulled the trigger on a new Tempurpedic contoured pillow and the very next morning my neck felt better than it had in years. I mostly sleep on my sides but sometimes flip to my back. Works well in all positions.

Then, they won't let you return it even if you never opened the package. obviously, Temperpedic knows it's a piece of crap and they don't want it back. That really is a shame as we absolutely love our Temperpedic mattress.
