We have only had this vacuum for a few weeks but so far we absolutely love it. We have 2 labradors inside and 2 other inside dogs and hair is a massive issue. This vacuum seems to get an unbelievable amount of hair off the carpet and we love how it handles our hard floors! So far, we love it.

This is our third Shark vacuum cleaner, has always been a dependable machine. Our daughter still has the first one, which is over 20 years old and still works well. We like the new way it automatically switches from carpet to bare floors, and puts more suction on the side that is against a wall. The suction on Shark vacuums has always been awesome, which is why I still buy them. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is they took away the one thing that made it awesome. The body is no longer detachable so you can clean under your furniture and such. That is a feature we loved on our old vacuum, which we broke the plastic that holds it upright. If Shark will put that feature back on it, it’s a 5 star product.

I've had this vac for about 3 weeks now. It is sooo much later than my last Shark vac, which in my mind is a plus. I love the boost, and how it focuses on the corner you happen to be in at the moment and the suction is amazing. Easy to put together easy to use. There is a lift away button and a hose release as well.

The suction is really strong and picks up everything from dust to pet hair without a problem. I love how it adapts to different surfaces and boosts power when needed. I also really like how versatile it is, and the attachments are a huge plus. The pet tool is great for furniture and stairs, and the detachable hose makes it easy to dust blinds and get into tight corners. The handle adjusts, too, so I can customize the length depending on what I’m cleaning. Overall, this is a great vacuum, especially for houses with pets.

Super suction is the dominant factor in this review. Sometimes overpowering on smaller things like bathroom rugs, and loose rugs. Not sure how best to control it. I love that it can adjust itself from hard floors to low pile and thick rugs all on it's own. This is my third Lift Away Shark vacuum so I definitely recommend them. Someday I hope I can get the one that turns the canister vacuum into a stick vacuum to get underneath all my couches, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Detect Pro Vacuum is actually quite impressive. Its ability to clean rugs is unparalleled. It picked up way more dirt in one cleaning session than my previous vacuum ever did in multiple sessions. The light function included helped me identify where else to vacuum as well. It is also way more convenient to not having to use a bag when vacuuming. The other attachments included helped me clean more areas in the house that I wouldn't be able to reach otherwise. This basically shortened a vacuuming session of 30 minutes into 10-15 minutes, and saving time is more valuable to me than anything. Five star rating because it's absolutely perfect!

Its very quiet, relatively light and very easy to handle. I love the odor neutralizing technology. When we clean for a living, we usually put scented beads between the filter and this is so much more convenient and way less messy. My favorite thing about it is that it's pretty to look at! The colors are beautiful.

We have a dog, and this is the first vacuum that made our carpets look brand new again. My mom is obsessed with it too. She noticed right away how powerful the suction is and loves that it’s easy to maneuver and empty. The DuoClean Detect and AntiAllergen features are also a huge plus our home feels noticeably cleaner and fresher after vacuuming. If you’re debating this one, just get it. It’s worth every penny!
