Disappointed - Previous Lift Away was a true Lift Away as you could detatch and use the power head. that was the ENTIRE pont of the feature. not with this new model. Suction is great but without an overide relief valve, even hard floor setting is too much for Ruggable type two-piece rugs

I’ve always been a Shark fan—my last two vacuums were Sharks, and this one is a perfect upgrade. The suction is strong (it almost pulls you when you turn it on), and it’s great on plush carpet as well as wood floors thanks to the multiple floor-height settings, including the sensor mode. I love the slim design for getting into tight spots and along baseboards, and the noise level is lower than expected for how powerful it is. It comes with all the standard attachments plus a special one for window blinds and ceiling fans. My favorite part is the rollers—especially with long hair, I just make sure to clean them after each use. Overall, it’s a durable vacuum worth the money.

I've been a dedicated Shark vacuum customer for years. Sadly, this one is a fail on several counts. The self-propel feature is too strong. You basically have to run it to the wall if you want to stop it. The adjustment for less/more suction is ineffective. I've always been able to vacuum my rugs using this adjustment w/o sucking the rug up. Not with this one. The crevice tool does not fit on the body of the vacuum, even though there is a post for it. Lastly, the cord holders are on the top of the canister and the bottom, almost to the floor. If you have back or bending issues, this is inconvenient and not user friendly. And the carpet refresher canister 🤮. I don't want my house to smell like industrial strength bathroom deodorizer. I have basically the same but older version of this model. There was really no need for all of the changes. It was great the way it was. Now I'm in search of a replacement, ugh.

Shark has been my vacuum of choice for years now. I would never go with another brand. Shark is superior to all others I have used and never disappoints. Plus, it outlasts all other vacuums. This new Shark I purchased is fantastic, and I look forward to using it every time I pull it out. I highly recommend this unit.

I gave this a 4 because the first time I tried it, I broke it. The user manual states don’t run over the cord as it will slice it . Of course that makes sense. This vacuum has an extra long power cord which usually would be a plus except, the Rug mode has a strong power assist that causes the vacuum to lunge forward. As I was trying to get the power cord out of the way the vacuum lunged forward, caught the cord and sliced it. Devastated. My last vacuum was 25 years old so I was pretty proud of this new Shark. For the short time I had it -it was amazing. I vacuumed over a rug, that I had vacuumed the day before and was shocked at how much the Shark pulled out. I had forgotten how bright that rug really was. So, if you buy this , Just one tip- make sure your power cord is up and out of the way before changing the suction mode to Rug or Auto Detect.

Great vacum for picking up pet hair. The power cord is stiff and very hard to roll back up. This could be a huge problem NOT to purchase again. Other vacums pick up good as well and the cord is easy to roll up for storage

I love the shark lift away cleans everything from dog hair cat hair love it wow where did all this come from and it has a deodorant pod makes the house smell clean

I haven’t been able to use every feature of it but all the features I have used have worked out great. The power of the vacuum is fantastic and to me it is pretty lightweight. I vacuumed a room after it had been vacuumed, not very long ago, with another vacuum and it picked up so much more.

I used to sharpen Apex for The Last 5 Years and the powerhead on it went bad of course sharp never has parts to fix their vacuum cleaners because they just want to sell you another one okay I accepted that I've dealt with Dyson they suck they get on carpet and they just get bogged down you got to turn it off pull it backwards this one this detect Pro that I bought does that sum and I don't really like to detect part cuz when I use that then I'll get into my vacuum cleaner sometimes it'll start shaking and kind of jumping a little bit my simple Apex was good NOT REALLY HAPPY WITH IT MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH STRATOS DUOROLL

Regretted this purchase within days. On carpet or large area rugs anchored by furniture it’s ok. Not great but ok. Unless there’s a setting I haven’t found yet, it’s impossible to vacuum smaller rugs without it trying to pull the rug into the roller. You can use the hard floor mode but then you lose the roller/beater option to better clean the rug. It doesn’t fit well under furniture unless you’re willing to give up the power nozzle. It doesn’t pick up fine dust along the edges or hard floors.- not even with multiple passes. The liftoff canister is ok for vacuuming stairs but there’s no power tools for carpeted stairs. My last vacuum had a smaller power roller brush like a pet hair attachment - this one does not. Also the motor/canister area gets so hot it partially melted the crevice tool and warped it so it doesn’t fit smoothly. The power cord is insanely short so expect to have to unplug and plug it in elsewhere to finish a decent sized room (like a master bedroom). And finally if there is ANYTHING on the floor like even a pair of shoes, it will lift up over the sole and try to vacuum up the shoe. This product was clearly QA’d in an empty 10x10 room with only clumps of dirt by a person who’d never operated a vacuum before.
