I’m really impressed with the Shark Detect Pro. It has strong suction, picks up dirt and pet hair easily, and the automatic detection feature makes cleaning much more efficient. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and does a great job on both carpets and hard floors. Overall, it’s a powerful and convenient vacuum that makes everyday cleaning much easier.

I upgraded my Shark Navigator Lift-Away upright vacuum, which I purchased about 8 years ago. I am a fan of the Shark upright vacuums and this one has not disappointed. I have 2 dogs + 2 cats and this vacuum can keep up with all the pet hair. It's lighter than my older version and the 2 brush system picks up all the small dirt or hair. My only small gripe is the cord is shorter than my previous version. I have to unplug to move from room to room, where previously, I did not.

Overall I do love this vacuum. However it is NOT a true lift away. The full body cannot be taken off to use the large power head under beds and such. It does lift off the the wand comes with it and will detract from but DOES NOT have power in it to operated the main power head. This is a very misleading title. My last shark upright I had for 10 years or more, and lifted off to be used under beds. Can’t even use the small power attachment as the wind had no power plug on it. So disappointed!! Tried to add pictures but site wouldn’t let me for some reason.

This vacuum cleaner exceeded my expectations. It’s probably one of the best I’ve ever owned. It does beyond the job. If you wanna clean home, I highly recommend it not only a home. I also clean my car with this wonderful vacuum and it leaves it spotless no hairs left behind and the detection is everything.

The vacuum does a great job at cleaning the floors! Works great on my thick area rug and hard floors. I love the odor neutralizer cartridge too. My only complaints are that there is no way to use this vacuum on my doorway rugs without it sucking the rug up and/or tearing the edges of the rug up. It needs a feature to lessen the suction when needed on rugs.

5 STAR vacuum! NEGATIVE five star power cord! The CORD is so STIFF it is like trying to manage 30 wire hangers all tangled up. It kinks, then the kinks are always landing in the path I'm vacuuming thus hard to move the cord so not to run over it. What was the designer thinking?????

I’m a big fan of Shark Vacuum machines. This is the third one that I’ve had. I love it because it sucks really strong as well as the odor neutralizer which spread fresh smell afterwards. I’m impressed because its light weight and easy to clean. However the when I press unlock image to release the handle tube, I was scratched a few times because of the sharp edge. Just be careful and it will be ok. Overall this is a good product that I highly recommend to everyone.

I received this one as an upgrade because my other one had issues and they no longer carried that one. Not sure an upgrade would describe this one. The detector is nice and vacuum is very lightweight but I what is the most annoying is using this one smaller rugs. It constantly sucks the edges up which makes it difficult to vacuum. I would not suggest buying this if you have a lot of small rugs to vacuum. Otherwise it seems to work fine.

I bought this vacuum in place of my other Shark vacuum which I purchased two years ago, and is still under warranty, but stopped sucking up. The company is currently working with me. However, I have a two floor home and keep one vacuum upstairs so I don't have to lug it up and down. That is also a Shark and much older. It still works wonderfully. While I am impressed with the suction on the Shark Detect Pro Upright vacuum, the detector does get conflicted when going from hardwood to tile. Also small rugs, like bathroom rugs, are difficult to do no matter what setting. Nevertheless, it does its job very well so far and I do like the side lighting.

This is my 5th Shark. It has a lot of great features l. BUT is it supposed to be so loud and make an almost rattling noise. I just purchased this today, so wondering if anyone else has had that experience?
