I have had this vacuum for three months now and can honestly say that I love it. When I tell you it gets every piece of dog hair from my carpet, and with ease. I’d recommend this vacuum over and over again.

We’ve owned at least 4 shark vacuums, while this one works great, they seemed to have shortened the cord significantly!! It makes things really inconvenient.

Incredible suction from this vacuum. I haven't had it for long, but so far so good. The only thing negative comment I have is that there is only 2 accessory spots on the vacuum, and it comes with 3 accessories. Other than that ... great product!

Heavier than previous Shark, but still very maneuverable. Hair doesn't get wrapped up in rollers but ends up with dirt in hopper where it belongs. Really impressed with suction.

The handle to use the lift and vacume is defective. Won't latch. Very disappointing. Who wants to send this large item back and box gone. I guess they don't do quality inspection or don't care

Not happy that this vacuum is not a true lift away. I can’t get under furniture, which is one of the features that I loved about my previous Shark’s. Also I don’t like the positioning of the hanging of the cord, it’s too low.

I am very pleased with the Shark Upright vacuum. This one replaced an older moder Shark Upright vacuum that just not doing the job with pet hair. So far, this one is great. It is easy to use on hardwood and carpet. It almost makes vacuuming fun.

I have another Shark newer model and we proceeded to vac with that first. We followed with the new vacuum and wow was it dirty. This is a heavy suctioning vac. I would recommend this vac to anyone that has animals or kids (same lol).

I have now had my upright detect pro for about a month now and I absolutely love this vacuum! I have owned a few shark vacuums before this one , the vortex, the rocket they have been great vacuums and have lasted for a long time especially at times with having 5 dogs,3 Cats and 3 Birds… I do a lot of rescue and with that comes a lot of hair and dander… This vacuum blows all of the others away! The strength is unmatched! Only thing I regret is that it didn’t come with all of the attachments… I would’ve liked to have tried them out and reviewed them as well, but as far as this vacuum goes, hands Down my absolute favorite and I am definitely so so impressed with everything about! *****

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is great! It has so many awesome features I have enjoyed using. The detachable hose and accessories allows you to dust furniture and blinds as well as clean other items such as sofas. The vacuum itself has multiple settings. There is a cool knob you can use to change the flooring type or you can leave it on automatic. When it goes over carpet the vacuum really propels forward- you need to be strong to hold on to it. There’s also a cleanliness indicator. If the vacuum senses a lot of of dirt, it turns to boost (purple circles). There are side sensors when it knows the vacuum is up against something. There are so many cool features. My dad was visiting when this arrived and he’s now interested in getting one!
