I have this exact model only 10+years old. We needed an upgrade bc we have a new dog and I vacuumed the basement and it was a bit stinky. I did my research and I kept coming back to wanting my vacuum just newer. This one is great. I think it’s 100% lighter than the older version. There are a few things I wish didn’t change like button placement and the wind up but overall this thing is super powerful, cleans what we assumed was clean and is actually propelling which makes things easier. Again it’s powerful so if you’re not prepared for the propel it does jolt you a bit. I love it and I’m really happy with it.

I have long been a SharkNinja fan! This replaced my 10-year old Shark. Suction, weight, and maneuverability are excellent! However, three things that drive me crazy are the control button being on the top of the canister (instead of the handle), the stiff (cheap-feeling) cord, and no light on the handle! I will have a hard time adjusting to these differences from my older model. Overall, the results it provides are excellent.

Absolutely Amazing!!!! I’ve only had one Shake product let me down over my last several years with this amazing company & product. This vacuum is no joke! It definitely cleans as it says it shout, however I think it cleans better than one could expect. Do yourself a favor, and buy it!

The cord is so rigid it won’t roll up and it gets hung on things and constantly trips me. Won’t lay flat on the floor. It is also shorter than my other 2 Shark vacuums. The roller bar on this one is very loud too and sounds like something could be wrong, but I just opened it and used it for about an hour with no change.

Never met a shark I didn’t love. But I sick over this one and have done away with box. I thought lift away was complete lift away and that’s what I really thought I was buying my Mom also got one because we had been wanting a lift away this makes 5 Sharks and your latest Shampoo also let Mom use and she also has the shampoo machine around here I’m known as the shark lady and before long I will get the LIFT AWAY. Great suction on the machine no hair to clean ease of use like I said I LOVE all my SHarks

I love the swivel aspect and the fact that it detects whether it's on high pile, low pile or wood floor. This is an awesome vacuum.

I like everything about it but I dont see myself using detection feature. I like to have consistent speed.

this vacuum is everything I saw on the tv ad. Best vacuum yet. This is my 3rd shark vacuum, other two my kids are still using. I'll buy another one in 6or 7 years. they're just a very good affordable vacuum with great features. Dave Petrat

Gets stuck on all of my area rugs and small rugs bc it has too much suction. I tried every setting for carpet or bare floor and even the detect setting gets stuck and can't push vac on small rugs which i have many of

I bought this a few months ago and it was wonderful! Now everytime I vacuum it jumps up and down and leves terrible marks in the carpet. It looks worse than before I vacuumed it.
