It's a great microwave and works really well. Ease of use is simplistic and straight forward. One complaint...in this day and age the door opener and closer could be more up to date with the times. This system of door lock has been around since I worked in a steel mill.

CapacityGood for my use turn table works well. Love beverag setting hate limited useability of direct input to minute and not seconds if I am incorrect on this its the fault of a lousy users manual.it is the perfect size . wattage must be adequate caus it warms and cooks in a timely fashion

Standard three-prong, grounded wall plug that plugs straight in to the wall socket adds one to two inches to the depth measurement of the microwave oven. Suggest redesigning of the wall plug to the three-prong snub-nose type grounded plug to provide better fit of this microwave oven, closer to the wall or cubby-hole for counter top applications.

We bought the previous generation of this model 14 years ago. It worked perfectly all that time until experiencing sudden death. We’re grateful GE is still making it because it fits perfectly into our space, and have been impressed with its reliability. It’s compact but powerful. It reheats, cooks, defrosts exactly as desired every time. It’s a countertop model we use as a “built-in”. They’ve added a child safety latch that we’ve disabled because it’s not needed in our household, but it’s a great feature for families with small children.

It worked fine for four months then began a loud grinding noise on the turntable whenever product was used and seemed very unsafe to continue using. Also had concerns that the item appeared flimsy when opening and closing door compared to my previous Panasonic which had lasted 6+ years.

I’m 82 and just received microwave yesterday. Inside light very dim and control panel does not light up. The clock works and is lit and all buttons beep, fan works and rotates and heats. Just can’t see the buttons.

I have been so impressed with this microwave. The food is evenly heated every time! The food does NOT taste "microwaved". We are very pleased with this purchase!

This is my second one same exact one hope it lasts longer.my first one caught fire the bottom of microwave paint peeled exposing metal then one day it wouldn’t shut off. Love how easy to operate . I smelled wires burning and had to get rid of!!!!

Had this microwave about two months. Was heating up a cup of coffee, and it started on FIRE. It's a good thing I didn't leave the kitchen, because I stopped it as soon as I saw flames in side.

Love the sleek look and the wattage is amazing! It occasionally does weird stuff instead of just hitting the 2 button for a 2 minute warm up, it will ask us a question about the food and not let us continue. We are able to somehow get it back to the quick buttons somehow.
