Works great for us. Warms leftovers super quick and easy. Does popcorn fantastic. Pops almost all of the kernels.

This microwave oven is clearly one of the best I’ve ever had. There’s a feature that is essential if you have children, which is the lock on the door when it’s in use or when it is done, but the microwave does do it its job and keeps everything nice and warm or heat it very, very well to it. Boiling hot.

My Farberware 2.2 microwave stopped functioning correctly so I needed a replacement fast! Found 1.6 cu ft mircowave, was hesitant at first as it is a GE, and my last GE product only lasted 3 years, but this is the perfect size externally so bought it. Tested it out immediately as it was past dinner time. Although it said the door would be locked, it was not. The child resistant feature is easy to unlock, and I turned it off as I dont need that feature It seems to heat up things a little faster than my 2.2 cu ft one did. My 2 negatives are; I wish the keypad was a little more visible, it is very dark but maybe that is the style. Although the Manuel says it's normal for condensation between the glass on the door, it concerns me as I have never seen that happen on any other microwave. I like the white interior, my last one was gray. The interior light is nice and bright. I did use the time defrost and it worked perfectly and used the potato setting to cook a big sweet potato and entered 2 and it came out perfect. So far I am happy with it. It has all the features as my last microwave.

We have been pleased with the microwave. My only suggestion would be that lettering on the menu is difficult to see without additional lighting.

Works well, but buttons are very hard to read. I bought this for my elderly mother and needed to put stickers on each of the buttons so she could use the unit.

This is a typical countr top oven, nohing special about it. iy will do the job. The only problem a have found is that the hard pastic feet do not provide the required amount of friction to keep the unit from sliding every time you open the door or touch the key pad or close the door. That requires the user to hold to hold the unit still with one hand while operating it with the other hand. It is almost as if the feet are suppose to have high friction pas on them, but they don't. Iover came the problem by adding a piece of double sided from nounting tape on the buttom of the each foot.

The control panel is not backlit so it is very hard to see the numbers and controls.

The display on the screen is so dim I had to use a flashlight to see it. That's ridiculous. No way would I want to keep it

Cheaply built, buzzes and rattles due to transformer vibration and no dampening on metal outside cover. Uses incandescent bulb in 2026. Very poorly made.

Don’t waste your time with this GE microwave. This microwave didn’t last 6 months. It is cheaply made and was defective. It doesn’t even deserve a 1 star rating. This is the second one I have purchased since 2022. I’m done with GE and will be contacting Walmart for a refund.
