Had similar product for 20+ years. New product works great but the display lack of brightness on display is disappointing. TO look at it from a distance you cannot read the time This, if known beforehand , could have been a deciding factor in our purchases

Control buttons are almost unreadable unless you hold a flashlight up to them. The panel should be backlit. The door open and closing sounds like dropping a hubcap on the ground and a cheap feel. Other than that it heats food.

I'm 82 and just received microwave yesterday. Inside light very dim and control panel does not light up. The clock works and is lit and all buttons beep, fan works and rotates and heats. Just can't see the buttons.

We bought the earlier product in April 2021. We just replaced basically with the same unit. however, the first replacement footings were broke and it wobbled. It took three trips to find another ibex we replaced due to rusting inside the unit and we noticed a hole in the rust on the top.

We bought this microwave as a replacement for an old GE microwave that had worn out. Maybe I should have checked first but I didn't realize that it lacks a mute feature! How is it possible in 2026 that GE sells new microwaves without the ability to mute the stupid annoying beep sound? That functionality can be implemented purely in software so it would cost them nothing. It's literally worse than the equivalent product from 15 years ago. GE is going backwards and letting their customers down.
