This is the third GE microwave I have bought. The second one was bought used but only used a few months. This is the one I replaced.

I really love my new microwave. The capacity is great. I love the color. And the heating is consistent.

After a couple of weeks, tha microwave began sparking inside and making extremely loud noises, as of it were going to blow up.

This model replaced an 8 year old version that died suddenly. This appears to be much the same - which is great because we loved the old one. We use the oven just about every day for streaming fresh veggies, melting butter, and warming up leftovers. The auto features work like magic.

Just as the title says, its a microwave that serves its purpose in cooking/heating/reheating/defrosting foods. I needed to replace my dead uwave, so this one fit the size, wattage & price range. The power level is great, efficiently heats the food. The anti-kid feature was a pain-in-me ar$e but it was easily overcome by punching in the conversion code. Not a fan of the turntable feature (as they all are these days), the areas where the turntable is not is lost real estate where a plate or container can reside while in use. The "uwave" stirrer was more efficient & allowed for full use of the floor area. The buttons are difficult to see & read in low lighting conditions.

We just bought this microwavebecause our other one just quit. I have only had this for a wee and so far it i very good. I don't expect any problems with it and I am happy with it. I would definitely recommend this microwave to my family and friends
