I wanted a decent quality basic microwave and this one fits the bill. It is powerful, easy to operate and has all the features that I commonly use.

we luv it , works great , one exception is i don't like is the lock button , always forget to unlock before you can open the microwave

Controls are easy to design is awesome. The performance is great and the power exceeds all capacity to fit my countertop.

We like our microwave, but need to get use to the door remaining locked until you cancel or pause to be able to open the door.

This is the 2nd (identical) GE countertop microwave that we've had. Loved the previous one that was purchased during the pandemic and used it multiple times every day. Size, power, and features were perfect for our needs. Wish it had lasted longer than 4 1/2 years, but that seems to be the norm for so many appliances today. Luckily, with a sale, we paid the same price as before, which is amazing given the price increases on almost everything nowadays! Highly recommend.

The child lock is another step to do and for households without kids... it's really unnecessary. It should be quick in and out. No more other buttons to press. It's hard for those with vision problems. I don't like the loud sound when I close the door of the microwave. I feel I can't use it when people are sleeping.
