The Midol is absolutely necessary for me each month to make it through my rough cycles and horrible symptoms. It takes away my headaches, helps relieve my lower back pain, helps to stop my bloating, and I like that the packets are small and discreet enough for single use and I can throw one in my purse, my gym bag, my work tote, and keep one even in my car for emergencies. The best idea ever had.

I feel like you need to be aware of your body and know what you are taking. As many other reviews have mixed feelings because they are all different. For some with extreme cramps or people who frequently use the pain reliever acetaminophen, it may not be as useful for you. Also, it depends what your cramps are being caused by if you are taking it for only cramps, if you have cramps because of clots then you will probably be better off taking ibuprofen because it thins the blood. If you have multiple symptoms like tiredness, the caffeine will take care of that, if you have a headache, it will help that, etc. Know what symptoms it treats and what it does by reading the box otherwise, you may get side effects that you didn't consider like the caffeine affecting

I don’t have a ton of issues with bloating however I do tend to get some pretty terrible cramping and headaches which can turn into awful migraines if I don’t get ahead of them and this product definitely helped alleviate both of those issues. I’ve purchased it before and will definitely continue to do so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love love that these come in pouches for "on the go relief" it makes it easier to bring along with me or even share. I normally pop a liquid gel of a different brand when my symptoms rage and hardly feel it's effects. With Midol there was a noticeable decrease in my cramps and bloating (which are usually my main symptoms during my period). I still felt tired so the caffeine in these did not help me as much, however I'm one of those weird people who isn't easily influenced by caffeine products. I don't often get headaches or other muscle aches (minus my back from time to time) so I can' speak on that, but I did notice a little pain relief with my back. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a change in your period side effect management routine.
