don't like new packaging

Hate the new packaging. I used to buy bone in skin on chicken thighs 6-7 trays at a time and split it up. This new packaging is so terrible and the chicken is soggy from soaking in all the slime in the package. It makes the texture different. Needs to change back to the tray style packaging.

New packaging has revealed horrible quality and a rancid smell. I've thrown away the last two packages I bought because of the horrible smell and they were well within date. The quality is terrible. No size consistency. Had one pack with one very large piece and one tiny piece. Packaging would be nice if they kept the old quality of the meat.

Very disappointed in the new packaging of these chicken thighs, the skin is barely attached. They are so much smaller. It is awful. Very mingled. Would rather go to Kroger and get these very disappointed which they would go back to the original style packaging and provider whoever they were using prior to these are absolutely positively horrible.

yeah I don't like this new packaging I can't see what I'm getting. apparently it's deceiving for a reason. I only have my Sam's membership because I like to buy meat here. I have to buy my most used meat being chicken thighs somewhere else then what's the point of the membership.

These thighs are sold in a package that is divided into 4 segments. You cannot tell how many thighs are in each vacuum sealed segment which makes it difficult to plan meals. The chicken pieces are mishandled before packaging such that the skin isn't attached to the meat. This is much lower quality than I expect for Sam's. Chicken sold in a tray where you can count the pieces and you can see that they were carefully placed provides a better product for customers. Sams tried this packaging years ago and went back to the trays. I hope they do again. Until then I will buy chicken at the grocery store.

Zero stars isn't an option. This new sealed packaged plastic packaging is horrible, but the chicken is much worse. I have been buying chicken from Sam's Club for 25 or so years, I will no longer buy it if it is packaged like it is now. The pieces looked like they were cut from a chicken with a weed whipper or a two year old with a machete, the thighs sizes were massively different in size. The small size piece in the picture could fit into a tablespoon when cooked.

Horrible new packaging. Can’t see what you’re buying and, oddly, there were 3 thighs in a pack. Two or 4 would make more sense, has no one at Sam’s ever read a recipe? I’ve bought all of my chicken at Sam’s for years but yesterday I bought it elsewhere. I won’t buy chicken at Sam’s again unless they go back to the old packaging.

New packaging is horrible. You can't inspect and see the quality you're buying. There are only 3 small to medium thighs per pack, and that is not indicated anywhere on the package, so you end up either cooking too few or too many for an average family. Takes longer to thaw out with them all clumped up in the package.
