Quality has gone down on the thighs that are packaged individually. The ones in the multi pack were much better.

Do not like that they switched from the foam trays to these bags, smells like some are old and probably won't buy again

Why change something the was great, the other version had way more pieces of chicken. I buy from Sam's for bulk!

Chicken thighs are very butchered up in this NEW packaging. The skin is completely off the chicken and an excess of skin is attached/dangling from the thighs. Some thighs had strings of skin dangling. Some cuts were unrecognized as a thigh. I was happy to see the styrofoam tray gone, but not at all happy with its contents.

The quality of the chicken is great. But Sam!!! Do you hate your members?? There's no easy way to open the package. Once all of the chicken has been removed, there's juice everywhere! You took a great product and made it frustrating with the packaging alone! Way to go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the packaging and how is conveniently divided into individual packages of about 3-4 thighs per package making super easy to thaw of you just want to make a few pieces. It was fresh, very good size and easy to cook. After cooking it was very tasty and I the skin got very crunchy which I love. It also a good fat that can be use for stock. I will definitely be buying again.

These used to be great until they changed to the vacuum packed style. I’ve bought them twice now and both times the meat has been poorly butchered and one pack went rancid by the next day. Unfortunately I won’t be buying these anymore unless they go back to the old packing/supplier.

New packaging is awful, full of watery chicken slime. Inconsistent product- some pieces are the size of my head and others are barely the size of my palm. Even the butchering is poor compared to the past product. It's just shameful how bad products have become… I only keep buying them because I refuse to pay a premium cost at Publix.

These chicken thighs appear to be a good price until quality is considered. These pieces appear to have been processed by a wood chipper: portions are wildly inconsistent, some are huge, and some looking like only part of a thigh with broken bones, most have the skin shoved to one corner, or missing. The package is loaded with "blood-fluid diapers" (to retain liquid weight).

When I first started going to Sams, these chicken thies would come in a tray and the thies were amazing; they were large and very fresh. This new packaging is absolutely aweful. The thies are small and there is a lot of liquid in the packaging. Clearly, someone thought that we should pay for water rather than chicken thies. As a member, I expect excellent quality at Sams, but, with this new packaging, I don't purchase any of my chicken at Sams anymore. The quality here is so bad that it feels like some sort of drug deal went down to bring this into Sams; I just cannot believe that buyers for Sams would willingly put this in their warehouse. I can go to any grocery store in my area and get fresh, large chicken thies for about $1.49 a pound, hence, no need to go to Sams.
