The packaging opened easily and the amount of chicken was a great value for the price. You'll definitely want to trim the excess fat and skin before cooking. I seasoned them well, and put them on the grill. After about 35 mins at 325°, I took them off to rest. Everyone loved the tenderness and flavor!

mixed emotions. I freeze all my meat wrappings till garbage day. No Styrofoam so takes up less space in the freezer. The plasic was hard to cut, had to use kitchen shears, 1 more thing to sanitize. Actual thighs were randomly cut, not very uniform. I only buy them to cook for dog food, so not a real issue. But, overall took more work and effort to open and get into the crockpot than the Styrofoam package. 1 slit of the plastic and all the pieces are easy to deal with. prefer the Styrofoam packaging.

The recent packaging change is the worst decision Sam’s has ever made for chicken. They leak, are inconsistent, and the chicken is slimy. Sadly, I will go back to Kroger to purchase chicken until packaging changes.

A few the skin wasn’t attached super well, otherwise we love them! They cooked super well also. Juicy, lots of meat.
