Don't trust it like the old packaging

Changing the way the package look it's not ok. Not getting enough chicken like we used to. I don't trust it to be honest, because I can't see the chicken good like I used to with the old open packaging.

Inconsistent sizes

I opened two packs with the same results. One thigh was a good size, and the others were extremely small. I had hoped to freeze some for future meals, but with the inconsistent sizes, it isn't feasible.

What's cooking

I love the fact the chicken is divided to 4 bags you can cut apart . This makes it easier for me to take out however much I'm gonna use without the extra. The chicken isn't tough at all when cooked properly. Mine even fell off the bone.

You Can't Eat Water!

With the new packaging, we're getting less chicken and more water. They've been making a habit of watering down packaged products for a very long time now. I remember how badly I wanted to buy their bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers when I tried the sample, but when I crossed the aisle and picked one up, it was ridiculously heavy for what it looked, so I tipped it up on end and watched all the water run to it. I'd been buying these chicken thighs in the trays for years and there was never standing water in them.

These Are TERRIBLE

These thighs are ALL OVER THE PLACE on size. One package will have a huge piece and then something that may or may not be a pigeon thigh because it's so small. We buy multiple packs and freeze them. They were so bad that we seriously have one labeled "Chicken Parts" because these can't be actual CHICKEN thighs. Hey, Sam's Club, PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL VENDOR!!!

The new packaging isnt great but for me who usually freezes some right away it makes it slightly more convenient to store. But the overall quality is way down . I cook 4 to 6 packages of these a month for topper for my dogs kibble. I used to love these thighs for the price. This last package even my dogs wouldnt eat. Very Disappointed and cant believe sams hasnt listened to all these bad reviews.

Quality is terrible.

Quality has gone down on the thighs that are packaged individually. The ones in the multi pack were much better.

New packaging tears the skin off of the chicken.

Sam's Club has recently changed the packaging for the fresh chicken which turns out to be a terrible idea. The new machine at the factory must aggressively stuff the chicken pieces into the new packaging which rips the chicken skin clean off. I bought the package of thighs and the package of legs and on all of the pieces had their skin torn off and left dangling and twisted. I am trying to untwist the skin and use toothpicks to hold in back in place but some of the skin seems to also be missing. Corporate, you really made a bad decision here. Admit it and bring back the old packaging so we can once again purchase in tact chicken.

Bring back the old packaging!!

Very disappointed with the new chicken thigh packaging. It used to come on a foam tray with a thick absorbent pad, which kept the chicken fresh and clean. Now it’s packed in a small pouch with a very thin pad that doesn’t absorb enough liquid. The chicken sits in its own liquid, causing a bad smell and making it spoil faster. It also looks unappetizing and it’s hard to tell how many pieces are inside. Please bring back the old packaging. It was much better.

Packaging is awful!

This new packaging is absolutely terrible! As long as this is the packaging I will not be buying chicken at Sam’s Club any longer. It’s so jampacked in these stupid pouches that the chicken is gross and mangled. They’re awful to open. You have to do it inside of a bigger bag so raw chicken juice doesn’t get all over your counters or floor. This packaging is beyond awful. I can’t say it enough.
