The butchery on this cut is very haphazard. Bones were splintered and cracked and meat was hacked and not cut cleanly. I ended up deboning everything to clean it up and poached it for chicken salad. I had plannned to marinate and grill but the risk of bone splinters was to great. Ran to a nearby grocery store to replace for the meal.

What are these ,little pieces, bone fragment pieces of thighs that separated when cooked,Sam's should be ashamed selling this garbage, these thighs tasted as though they were created in the lab... That's right lab chickens I ended up throwing them out after my dog and cat both refused to eat them, will not be ever buying these again for one thing you can't even see what you're buying in this new packaging

I used to love this chicken but the new packaging changed that seems no two pieces r the same size some r maybe good for scraps ordered 2 packs for delivery the other day got one will be changing where I purchase it and can actually see what I'm getting not worth the price r the hassle of getting a refund on an item that was missing

2nd time purchasing, taste ok, but only 3 in pack . i normally cook at leas 4 . but many have gobs of fat , todays dinner 3 different sizes, so makes cooking mor difficult wit 1 large 1 med 1 small . looks like way cut up production way to fast , i be looking some ware else i can get quartered legs for half at most stores but i prefer thigh's . tuson was uniform sized and i could freeze quantities as needed

I have purchased this item for the past three years for my family as well as my two dogs and have preferred it to other store purchases. They have changed the packaging as well as the quality of the product. The butchering is very sloppy with loose and odd looking cuts. The skin is either mostly missing or wadded up in a mess. This is the worst thigh product I have ever purchased irregardless of the store.

I do not like this new packaging. You can't see what you're getting and I think that is the purpose of the packaging. And I was not happy with what I did get. The thighs are not proportionate at all. Some are normal size while some are so small they look like they're from a pigeon. I've included a picture so you can see the difference in the sizes

Absolutely HATE the new packaging of Chicken by "Member's Mark". I haven't even opened these yet so I have no idea how many pieces are in the package. I have no idea the size of the pieces. Sam's Club started out as a "Warehouse" for business purchasing. I love that they also allow individuals to shop. But they no longer cater to businesses. I cook for a large group once a week. One of the meals we do is roasted Chicken Thighs. I've been making this meal for about fifty people once a month for three years. It's one of the favorites. But I NEED to know the size of the pieces and how many pieces I am purchasing. I don't need the "convenience" of four sealed packages. I need fifty thighs, similar in size. If I the packages have a lot of "little" thighs I need more pieces. If the packages have mostly large pieces I need fifty. Sometimes what marketing people think is helpful is actually counter-intuitive to the needs of the customer. PLEASE bring back the old packaging. I will find somewhere else to purchase fifty plus thighs once a month going forward. And if I am going somewhere else for the meat, I am buying all the other meal components elsewhere too because I am not driving all over town to complete the shopping. I don't have time for that. If I don't buy at Sam's club, then I don't need the membership.

Sam's Club has recently changed the packaging for the fresh chicken which turns out to be a terrible idea. The new machine at the factory must aggressively stuff the chicken pieces into the new packaging which rips the chicken skin clean off. I bought the package of thighs and the package of legs and on all of the pieces had their skin torn off and left dangling and twisted. I am trying to untwist the skin and use toothpicks to hold in back in place but some of the skin seems to also be missing. Corporate, you really made a bad decision here. Admit it and bring back the old packaging so we can once again purchase in tact chicken.

Very disappointed with the new chicken thigh packaging. It used to come on a foam tray with a thick absorbent pad, which kept the chicken fresh and clean. Now it’s packed in a small pouch with a very thin pad that doesn’t absorb enough liquid. The chicken sits in its own liquid, causing a bad smell and making it spoil faster. It also looks unappetizing and it’s hard to tell how many pieces are inside. Please bring back the old packaging.It was much better.

The chicken has large amounts of fat, good for making broth, when baked properly chicken is very tasty and oh so tender, now about the package, 1: cannot see how many thighs are in each package or thier size, at least with the flat of chicken covered with plastic wrap, quantity and size can be seen, also quality, 2: many families count on that due to limited incomes! The flats that use to be out for sale, did not have the quality of taste and tenderness as the Member's Mark. So why not both or members mark put thier chicken in a viewable package that maybe cheaper for MM IN in the long run.
