VERY disappointing

Hate the new packaging! You can't tell how many are in the package, you can't tell how big they are and you can't estimate how much fat/skin is there. I had a BBQ over the holiday and had to go to Kroger to get more because one side of the Sam's package only had one decent sized thigh and 3 wing sized thighs. The other side had only 3 smallish thighs. I had 15 guests coming, including business associates. VERY disappointing! I won't be buying these, or the other similarly packaged chicken again.

Loving the new saddle pack packaging!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new saddle pack packaging for Members Mark Chicken thighs. This new packaging gave me the opportunity to place it my deep freezer without taking up a lot of room. You are able to cut the packaging into four separate packaging (if you choose). In each section, it holds three pieces of chicken thighs so you can prepare four separate meals or you can prepare the whole package. The chicken thighs are a nice size and not too much fat to clean and they do have to bone in each one. One dish that I prepared was some barbecue chicken (photo) and it was delicious.

Pathetic product

Pathetic substitution for previous product. Subpar quality. Inconsistent pieces broken bones making even cooking all but impossible. Extremely disappointing. Have given these new packages several tries and after many years of using yhe previous package. I am being forced to search for another supplier for a more consistent product. I have been a very loyal Sam's customer for over 40 years. This product is so subpar, it may cauae me to rethink my membership.

Too much Fat and Skin

I like the thighs I’ve always gotten at Sam’s but this are not like the ones from before They are packed in 4 individual bags, different sizes in each and sometime 4 or 5 or 6 in a pack LOTS of skin n fat - LOTS! The only way I’d buy them again is if I boil and debone they do not make a nice plating portion They are cheap though and I made a great broth

Goodness!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I prefer dark meat and these chicken thighs did not disappoint. I always throw them in my crockpot and they turn out great!! They are excellent for chicken and rice. The price isn't so bad either for the amount of thighs in the pack. You can also cut the bag in half and freeze the rest if you do not want to use the whole amount while keeping the other half sealed.

Don’t buy these

This new packaging seems good, but it serves to hide a poorly butchered chicken thigh. Some of the packets include half chicken thighs , some little pieces, and very few whole chicken thighs. The sizes are also not uniform, so there’s no way to cook these at the same time. Please go back to the old packaging. This new packaging only serves to hide what you don’t want customers to see. The boneless chicken thighs and the bone in chicken thighs have the same problem.

Juicy chicken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to get this for free for my honest opinion! I am so glad I got to try this! It comes in a huge pack of chicken so we cooked half and froze the rest for later. We baked them with bbq rub and layered bbq sauce on top and oh my gosh these were the most juicy pieces of chicken! I will definitely buy more! I ate it for 3 days straight!

Chlean and fesh chicken tight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this Member's Mark Chicken tight to make a flavorful Indian chicken curry! The meat is packaged separately so easy to just open one and cook it individually. When I open the chicken doesnt have strange smell like usually packaged chicken, the meat is fresh and not slimy. Marinated with spice for 30 min and saute it on the pan with onion and butter then pour the curry sauce and a splash of cream, simmer it until it fully cook, served with warm rice and naan bread.

Sam's Ruined a Fine Product

Leave it to a corporation to put its meddling fingers where they don't belong. Believe the other reviews and buy your thighs elsewhere. Didn't realize these were skin on OR off, as half of mine had skin half did not. Unequal numbers of thighs in each bag. Awful quality. Some tiny. Some giant. And speaking of the bag: they're disturbingly hard to open; people suggesting they're better for freezing must be freezing for years as well, because the old trays froze just fine for a year. Will not be buying thighs from Sam's again. Just spend the extra .30 or so and go to aldi.
