Smoothest electric razor I have ever had.

Easy to use, very comfortable, and great shave. I have not had a new razor for 45 years and this one is absolutely excellent. I didn't realize an electric shave could be so comfortable. I highly recommend this Phillips electric razor.

Upon first arrival it seemed to perform well.it’s 6 months old now and I haven’t had a close or pain free shave in about 3 months?it acts like it’s dull even though I personally don’t grow much hair and clean it often?

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the good side, the razor does not irritate my face like others have. I’m disappointed that the blades don’t cut near as well after only one month of shaving.

There can be hair or dirt particles stuck inside, causing the shaving heads to not function correctly. To fix this problem, properly clean your shaver. When you shave with your Philips Shaver, you will achieve optimal results if you make slow, circular movements with the shaver over the face. If you have not shaved for a couple of days and have a heavy beard, it is a good idea to trim your beard before you start shaving. This technique also helps reduce shaving time. Great shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm getting a much better shave than my previous shaver. The round heads gather hair/whiskers better than the straight heads of the old shaver.

I followed the videos about how to shave but can only get 10% or less. Also the shave is not as good as my old Braun.

Does not live up to its billing

Is not even close to a good shave. A lot of drag on the skin, closeness of the shave is poor. Certainly not worth the money.

Keeping your blades clean and replacing them when required is the number one to make sure you get a close shave. We recommend giving your shaver a quick clean after each shave and a more thorough cleaning each month. The heads of your electric shaver are made up of two parts: the blade for cutting hairs, and the cap to protect your skin. The cap is made of the thinnest possible metal to make sure the blade is cutting as close to your skin as possible while minimizing the risk of nicks or cuts. Using the right technique is key to making sure you’re getting the best results from your Philips shaver. Hairs do not always grow in a uniform direction and, for that reason, we recommend moving your shaver in circles while applying light pressure. This allows the blades to cut hairs growing in all different directions. Additionally, if you haven’t shaved for three days or longer, pre-trim the longer hairs with a beard trimmer to ensure a better result when using your Philips electric shaver.
