[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I’m really impressed, as this is the first electric shaver that’s ever given me a clean-cut shave that would be worthy of replacing a manual shave. I generally shave every other day so having something that cuts nearly as good as a manual shave is amazing. I haven’t had a manual shave since I started using my Philips Norelco 7000 series shaver. I love that the shaver works both wet and dry; I generally prefer a wet shave as I have really sensitive skin, however this shaver feels so smooth against the skin, it hasn’t aggravated my face even when I do a dry shave. I like that Philips has a companion app that helps give you guidance to help improve and/or correct your shaving technique. It connects easily with the shaver and will have data over the duration of your usage. I’m a huge fan of the Quick Clean Pod that comes included; while giving it a good rinse helps, the pod does wonders to keep your shaver nice and clean. Little hairs always get stuck in cervices that you can or won’t see, so it’s a great solution to keep your shaver in tip top shape. I love that it’s wireless but rechargeable which makes this great for traveling as it also includes a travel case. The only criticism, I wish they would have changed the charging port to something more universal like usb-c port as that seems to be what’s most commonly used with tech gadgets these days. I’m as very happy camper and extremely pleased with the Philips Norelco 7000 series shaver. I don’t think I’ll be needing the old razor blade again!

It shaved very close without any nicks or cuts. There is no stubble left behind. I’m very please with the performance of this shaver!

I watched and read all the "how-to" content. I just don't understand why you can't shave a strait line for goatee's. I guess this is a good product for people that shave their heads, but other than that, it's not practical. Also the trimmer on the backside doesn't cut, like barely at all. You can almost get gold foils for the price of this product. Very disappointed 😞

The person(s) that designed this razor must not have hair(beard) on their upper lip!!! Take a close look at the shaving head and then determine how to shave the hair that grows at the point where the nose nostrils meet your upper lip skin!!! The rotating razor blades have plastic totally around them (1/8-1/4 inch from the edge of the rotating razor blade to the edge of each rotating blade assembly of which there are three) with the 1/4 inch being the distance from the rotating razor blade to the outer edge of the shaver head. So you cannot shave any closer to the junction of the nose and the upper lip any closer than 1/4 inch; thus a person continually has visible hair at that spot on their face - fine for a person with a mustache but not a clean shaved person. I am continually having to take a multi blade straight razor to cut/remove hair at the nose upper lip junction - not a problem I have ever experienced in the past 60 years with electric rotating head shavers!!! Needs to be corrected!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Phillips Shaver series 7000 is very nice so far. It is great to be able to use in the shower when in a rush. The shaver is light and the battery lasts through several shaves and no charge so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been hesitant to buy electric razors but jumped on the chance to get this one. Not only does this do the job with or without shaving cream but it is super quick and with very limited mess! I am not the best at shaving and leave a lot of skin irritation so I appreciate the app that provides feedback and what I can do to improve my shave and limit skin conditions. I also love the cleaning feature that leaves the razors like new, compared to regular washing! The only downside is it doesn't come with an outlet plug (just a cable) to use for charging. That is the only thing that can be improved upon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a pretty thick beard and normally don't have good luck with electric shavers. But this one is different. I had a good shave with it without feeling any of the usual pulls when using electric shavers. All in all a comfortable shave but it did not remove all of the hair, which is why I dinged it one star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing gives a close and particularly smooth shave. The coverage is pretty good and O dont have to make too many passes. The Charging base works flawlessly and makes for a relatively clutter free space on my bathroom counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Shaver S7886/84 Wet & Dry Electric Shaver recently and was excited to try a somewhat mid to higher end shaver. It is my first shaver with a cleaning station and speed sensing. When I opened the box, I found the shaver, travel case, a USB charging cable, a container of the cleaning fluid, and the cleaning station. When I looked at the first page of the booklet, it showed a protective cap, and I thought mine was missing it. When I read the booklet further, I realized that the booklet is for multiple models. The exact model I got does not come with a protective cap, as stated in the manual on page 23. I think this is something easy to miss in the booklet, as I think most people don’t read it. The shaver can also connect through Bluetooth to an app on your phone. If you’re interested in that, it can tell you some statistics about your shaving, like if you’re going in a circular motion and how long you shaved. The Bluetooth signal can be turned off for travel, but it can’t be turned off when shaving, for those who don’t use it. One other feature is the automatic adjustment of the shaving heads, depending on how much resistance it feels when shaving. I guess it can reduce shaver burn, and also help cut through thicker hair when needed. I sometimes notice the sound of change when shaving, so it seems to be changing speeds. The maximum speed of the shaving heads is apparently higher than other models, which is nice. The body of the shaver has some rubber to help you grip it. It prevents it from slipping in your hand, when your hands are wet while shaving. This is useful because this shaver can be used with a wet shave. The shaving heads are surrounded by extra blue plastic with Nano SkinGlide Coating, extending the size further than necessary. It makes shaving close to edges, like the upper lip, a tiny bit more difficult. I think the size of the extra plastic or the ridges make it harder to move in the recommended circular motions, and I’m not sure of its benefits. The popup trimmer is a nice, convenient addition to the shaver. I can use it to trim my sideburns between haircuts. It’s also nice that the shaver head flips up with a press of the button. It makes it easy to clean out after every use. Overall, it’s a pretty good shaver that others should consider.
