[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a blade shaver all my life, recently grew a short beard and needed a shaver to keep the neck area neatly smooth. Hated using foam and a blade to do that so tried a well know foil shaver. Found that did an OK job, but occasionally pulled my neck skin in a painful way! The Philips does NOT pull ever! It is extremely comfortable and does a great job too! Highly recommended!

Dislike: the heads are set back, making it difficult to cut the hairs under the nose. Meh: charging stand. I just plug the cord directly into the razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Philips Norelco shaver, and I must say, after using a foil shaver for years, I've noticed a much closer shave than my old foil shaver could offer. It took a few days to adjust, but with the help of the Philips shaving app, it helped guide me to a better shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like most things about this razor. It does a pretty smooth job over a short period of time. I do not find the app very helpful. I do find that it works best when my face and razor are dry. When wet the skin stretches and moves more taking a little longer to shave. I do find it difficult to get a clean shave under the nose area. The design does not allow for a smooth movement under the nose without the other cloves of the head catching on the lip. You say to use a single flat side but that does not get close enough to the nose. Also, the crease around the edge of an "old mans" mouth is a difficult area also... and the trimmer does not shave close enough and would work better if it locked in place so you could gyrate it back and forth. If you trim your sideburns back a ways you still leave a short stubble that is difficult to get with the rest of the razor without messing up the edge on the side burns. What I like best is that I can get a 3-4 minute shave right before I walk out of the house and the wife is ok with it even though it really looks like it is a day old shave done easy.

My 7000 series Philips Norelco wet and dry electric shaver which I recently purchased has exceeded my expectations. I use it as a dry shaver and it does a great job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the technology and ease of use. Feels comfortable in my hands and quite convenient to use in the shower. My facial hair grows really fast and I prefer to be clean cut at all times. It does feel like a close cut by touch, but it looks like an evening shadow at all times and after 30 days of use my skin seems to still be irritated by the shave, but this could be to the texture of hair. It looks like I may be getting in grown hairs, but I'll give it more time.

The shaver heads catch or pinch at the bottom of my chin, have to shave in the area slower then normal. It would be nice if the shaver could be placed in the charger as well as the cleaner and have the selection to do charge, cleaning or both.

I find being able to flip up the shaver heads makes cleaning them a very simple task. I've had the shaver for about three weeks now and I'm totally satisfied with its performance and features.

I don't get razor burn anymore. Should have gotten an electric razor a long time ago. Wish I had an electric razor when I was in Navy Boot Camp, I wouldn't have gotten hit every morning at inspection.
