[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new model in the 7000 series is a real improvement over the previous, very good Philips shaver I was using. The trimmer helps shaving sensitive areas. The floating heads do a great job of removing hair over my entire head and neck. The battery recharges very quickly, and the shaver is easy to clean. I believe that most users would be quite happy using this Philips model every day... I know that I do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 1st electric razor I have ever bought or used. So I don't have anything to compare it to. It is OK. I was expecting a little less looseness in the razor head section. And a more rapid blade circulation overall. The razor does give you a smooth shave but I still find myself touching up afterwards with a regular manual razor blade. And I am still learning the right and wrong way to shave with it. I guess if I had a little more experience and shave more frequently my review would be different and I would probably be more satisfied. But with saying that I go several days without shaving at times and thus razor doesn't do well with longer facial hair. Anyway I give it a solid 4 to 4.5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am coming from Braun 7, which I also liked. This is a different shaving experience. Philips is noticeably quitter and quicker. What I like most thus far is the cleaning pod. It's much simpler and smaller comparing to Braun. My only dislike is trimming sideburns. Braun worked better for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old Phillips razor with this one. At first I struggled getting a good shave,but after a few tries, it does a good job now. I think that I was trying too hard (as was required with old one).

It doesn't always achieve complete coverage, and I often need to go over the same areas multiple times. For these reasons, I wouldn't give it five stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is clumsy to hold, on the average I usually end up with multiple ingrown hairs after shaving. It doesn't shave a close as my old floating head Norelco. I complained to Norelco and they replaced it with a 3000 floating head model which works perfectly for me. Thank you for solving my problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The electric shaver does a good job. Does not cause irritation to the face. Does not create ingrown hairs. Cuts as a close to a blade as possible. Works wet or dry. Easy to clean and the charge lasts for weeks.

The travel lock is a handy feature, too. I also like the feedback provided through the app. I only wish I could purchase a travel case for it.
