[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Phillips makes excellent shavers, have been using them long time. As an employee of Wahl Clipper, I must say Phillips has the better shaver, way quieter doesn't wake up the whole house while shaving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how the self sharpening works, but it is a nice feature!! I do wish that Norelco would angle the shaver head a little more downward. When i was using the 5000 series, the way it was angled is about where the 7000 series should be. Also, i would love for Norelco to make a pre-electric shave lotion/liquid "Roll-On" bottle. The "Roll-On" botte would allow you to put it directly on your face, gently...squeeze the bottle to make the contents hit your face then the light yet hard you squeeze, and "Roll" the bottle all over your face it would apply the lotion vs having to put the lotion in your hands and splash it to or on your face. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first electric razor. I am totally satisfied with mu S7885/85 wet dry shaver. Having never used an electric razor, the first shave with it was better than i expected, I would highly recommend this shaver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was concerned I would not get the close shave that a razor provides. I was wrong. This shaver gives me the same close shave. It is quiet, comfortable ,and holds a charge for weeks. With the high cost of razor blades, this is a great value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaver is quite long and takes up space in a bag. But the main comment I have is that the shaving head is too large. The cutting heads could be a little closer together. The area around these heads (shown in blue on picture) is too large - it is difficult to get to hairs growing out of a nose. The space in the center or the heads grabs my skin which is annoying.

The "water drops" light up but I do not have the cleaning pod with my shaver. I find it difficult to use circular motions when shaving. The trimmer seems to vibrate a lot, it is quieter if I hold a finger against the side of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like most things about this razor. It does a pretty smooth job over a short period of time. I do not find the app very helpful. I do find that it works best when my face and razor are dry. When wet the skin stretches and moves more taking a little longer to shave. I do find it difficult to get a clean shave under the nose area. The design does not allow for a smooth movement under the nose without the other cloves of the head catching on the lip. You say to use a single flat side but that does not get close enough to the nose. Also, the crease around the edge of an "old mans" mouth is a difficult area also... and the trimmer does not shave close enough and would work better if it locked in place so you could gyrate it back and forth. If you trim your sideburns back a ways you still leave a short stubble that is difficult to get with the rest of the razor without messing up the edge on the side burns. What I like best is that I can get a 3-4 minute shave right before I walk out of the house and the wife is ok with it even though it really looks like it is a day old shave done easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor works great. I get a very nice smooth shave even with a couple days growth. The app sucks it will not connect to the razor at all. It finds it but spins forever I had my phone next to it for over an hour.

I say that with the knowledge that my old Philip's shaver was the best at least I thought. My old shaver was approximately 31 years old. Absolutely loved the shave and feel afterwards. This new shaver is so much better. The 7000 is perfect for someone who has a fine brissiley facial beard. I normally need to use it twice per day, morning and evening, and i have no chaving or burning sensation after use. At this point I have nothing of a con to offer. All that I can say is if you want a great shave try this appliance. If it lasts for as long as my old shaver I then have found a winner.

I travel extensively and can use it on flights, airports etc. it is simple to clean. The best part is u can actually clean it with running water under a faucet. Gives a close shave.
