[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thee shaver started good but now that i have used it for 6 months, it does not work well at all. I have used the cleaning station everytime but it still does not work well. I recently upgraded to 9000 series. I get a close shave wit it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Should be 4.5 stars. Still learning the "process" of shaving Norelco recommends with this shaver. Nice to be able to shave 'wet' or 'dry'. Easy cleaning. Shave is close enough...not blade-like close unless I shave at night then again in morning. Glad I switched from blades and the high cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 20 years, it was time to upgrade my Philips razor and I had high hopes for this well-rated Series 7000 model, which is app-enabled and is supposed to be kind to sensitive skin that is at risk of ingrown follicles. The app integration works, but I have not been able to qualitatively test the skin promises. What I can say is while this razor does well against flat cheeks and under the neck, it shares the same issues with its predecessor in that it does not shave well under the nose or over the chin. It does better but the blade discs are still set too far from the edge to be able to shave the edges effectively. The app (and instructions) says to shave in a circular motion, but it doesn't explain how to edge. Maybe an explanatory video. Also, it would be nice if the cleaner base also included a charger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Norelco user for FIFTY ( 50 ) +years . So in my opinion I am more then qualified to say that this is the best one ever and the self cleaning feature is just wonderful . Simply the BEST shaver yet .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Closer shave than with a razor. No more cutting my face like with a razor. Wife likes the feel of my face after a close shave. I don't get razor burn anymore. Should have gotten an electric razor a long time ago. Wish I had an electric razor when I was in Navy Boot Camp, I wouldn't have gotten hit every morning at inspection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Phillips Shaver is the first I have ever purchased. It is by far the BEST Shaver I have ever used. I had a Braun 9 and the Phillips shaver is much much better. Great close shave and I could't be more pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for another shaver to replace my Braun & chose the Phillips S7887/82 shaver. I had a rotary shaver years ago & it was okay, The Braun was okay. I began using this shaver and was impressed with how close the shave actually is. It's almost as close as my Dollar Shave Club razor! The shave is close, no irritation & can usually get the job done in 2 maybe 3 minutes. The shaver is very quiet, much quieter than the Braun, & even quieter than my first rotary shaver. I also like the self cleaning feature & the cleaning cartridges. Very nice shaver. Very happy with my purchase and glad I decided on this one.
