love this vacuum but it was missing the attachment to hold the tools. Fortunately i was able to take one off my old vacuums and it fit. I hate returning things

Has great power for hardwood floors, carpet, and heavyweight area rugs. Too powerful for a lightweight area rug. You have to push it, it will not pull itself.

It does not work on carpet at all. We have a Golden Retriever and she sheds a lot so I need to be able to vacuum my carpet and this vacuum does not work on carpet.

Dyson really has the suction. But it is so hard to push.......I can hardly move it. If you have a area that needs deep cleaning.......this machine really sucks. But I cannot move it.

It's big and heavy and I could not push it through my area rug even on the carpet mode. I had the smaller version that was very easy to use, but after 12 years of lots of use, it was not a candidate for repair.

This is my second Dyson, nothing compares to it, I’ve tried over 20 vacuums in my 32 year marriage. I recently purchased the new Pet Dyson and gave my 5 year old Dyson to my Daughter in law, she used it once and was amazed at the suction and was the perfect excuse to buy another. My next purchase will be the Hair styling tools.

i replaced one just like the one i had for 12 years. Highly recommend vacuum cleaner
