Very hard to pull device backward on the carpet. Part shown on the illustrations is not included in the box so the attachments cannot be attached to the vacuum.

This is a great vacuum , a Dyson it doesn’t get much better! The power is great, %26 the vacuum attachments are wonderful !! It is an overall 5 plus stars, as far as a great vacuum at a great price. Highly recommend Ed!!

As an owner of several Dyson vacuums over the years, this is by far the worst Dyson I've ever owned. I bought this for light vacuuming at my office and am very disappointed with the machine overall. The quality is subpar.

Absolutely horrible. It is EXTREMELY hard to push and the suction was so strong it was pulling the carpet fibers out of my carpet! Damaging my carpets. I called Dyson support 4 times and they continued to tell me they'd send me an "easy push" ir "adjustable" cleaner head replacement. After 4 calls with them they finally said this particular machine doesn't have any other cleaner head that has adjustable or easy push options than what comes on the machine. I returned it and bought a different brand.

My old Dyson Animal Vacuum was fantastic and lasted a long time. I couldn’t even push over my carpets due to strong suction power. Sadly I had to return but Walmart made the return easy. It worked great on wood floors and tile but I really wanted to be able to vacuum carpets as my fur grandbabies visit often.

It really doesn’t work for me in my small house- lol it’s suck is so strong i can’t push it across my rugs! It would be great in my other house so I’ll take it over there. Very strong suck not for area rugs lol. It works ok on wood floors.not complaining! My needs are just different where I bought it for.

This is a powerful vacuum but you can’t vacuum higher pile carpet because it doesn’t have a self adjusting head. It’s an older model which wasn’t listed that way so I can’t vacuum every room with it. Very disappointed. I was also charged $50.00 more on Walmart’s page as Dyson has the same one on their website for $229.99. Someone owes me $50.00. I’m thinking of sending it back due to the lack of carpet sizes I can vacuum. And the price. And it smells like rubber burning which I figured that may be worth all new vacuums. At least I hope so.

I really like the power. I like the long cord. Emptying is super easy. The automatic leveling works superb. Also, the ease of snapping it together, no tools... very very nice! A part was missing in my box. The part that holds the attachments to the vacuum. It has a learning curve with use. Does not function like a normal vacuum. It actually hurts my wrist. I wouldn't recommend an office worker or electrician etc buy it, carpal tunnel people, don't do it! Here is what I absolutely dislike: when the handle is all the way up in the upright position and "on" the top of the handle has suction. I have long hair. Not a great combo. The wand part of the vacuum is the reason, but I see as a design flaw. I also absolutely dislike the tension on the wand hose, I can't use it, I tried and I'm not a weak person. I don't wantbto fight the vacuum cleaner. I think that's all I've got.

I LOVE the suction, very powerful! Picked up a bunch of dirt my other brand vacuums left behind! I like it for the most part, however, the hose is not great. It is not easy to use as it adds a bunch of resistance when trying to bend it at the top while maneuvering. Also, I wish there was an accessory that came with it to do the stairs. All in all, a good vacuum!

Dyson is great, the vacuum is great, everything is great except they purposefully leave out a tool holder part from the packaging. The part cost $5 to order from another website, then pay additional for shipping. I understand that it may have saved $2-3 for Dyson not to include this part, but they ended up with irritated customers for this action. With Dyson being so petty, it makes me want to return the item and purchase somewhere else. Dyson could have easily upped the cost of the vacuum $2-3 and this issue would have never happened. This simple action is enough to make me never purchase a Dyson product in the future. Dyson simply being cheap and pinching pennies will make them lose thousands. I'm now a very unhappy customer!
