My daughter was carrying this up the stairs. It bumped the top step and the whole brush roll head part broke off of the main part of the vacuum. She is only 10 and could not have hit it hard. I was nearby and didn't even hear it bump the stair. We've had the vacuum less than 10 months, so the warranty is still "good", but they will not honor it because "it happened while we were carrying it." Is that really all the warranty will cover, if it somehow breaks when no one is touching it? I would understand if we had been very rough with it, but vacuums are going to bump things from time to time. That should be considered normal wear and tear. I expected Dyson products to be made of higher quality. It should not fall apart when bumping a step. The part that broke is a circular connector made of plastic. It bent right out of shape and I can't fix it without replacing the entire brush roll head piece, even though the rest of it is fine, it's just that circular connection that is bent. What's more, they want to charge me $115 to send the replacement part. That's almost half the price of the vacuum new (on sale--which it often is). If they're going to refuse to honor the warranty, I would hope they would at least be willing to send the part at a reasonable price. So buyer beware, this is a fragile piece of equipment and needs to be used with care. It breaks easily, and the warranty is pretty useless.

The suction pick up on the Dyson is great! However, using the hose and attachments are very frustrating and very awkward. Clearly this design was NOT thought out well. There is no bend in the attachment hose and trying to hold the hose for suction to continue, hold the vacuum, and clean the stairs at the same time is crazy. If I could, I would return this vacuum and buy something cheaper but easier and more efficient to use. I do not recommend this vacuum.

I love the Dyson brand. My first one lasted for about 15/20 years, so I had to replace it. The new works really well too. It wasn’t hard to put together either. Very good brand for a vacuum cleaner.

Everything about my buying experience was good. I bought this for my grandson in another state. He received it and said it works great. Has real good power, and was easy to assemble.

Difficult to push around and use. It was purchased to replace another Dyson ball vacuum cleaner which we have had for about 10 years. We moved it to the basement. We may have to replace the new one due to the difficulty of pushing it around.

Great worker of a vacuum! Ït is a bit of work using it cuz the suction is so strong. Yet, it does have a button to push for hard wood floors or no carpet floors, where the brush isn’t on %26 it’s much easier to push %26 pull! I love ours❣️

I have been buying Dyson products for a long time. The only reason I bought this one, was because of the cheaper price. I thought it was cheeper because there were no attachments with it. I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing this product. I can barely push or pull it through my carpet. I have never had that problem with my other Dyson vacuums. It definitely picks stuff up out of the carpet, it also picks the carpet up. I have a sore shoulder after using this product. I would recommend spending a little bit more money and getting one with an adjustable suction on it.

I’ve never had a vacuum cleaner that suctions and picks up particles this well. It took me a minute to figure out how to pull the hose out %26 attach - probably because it was so easy. There doesn’t seem to be a storage spot on the vacuum for the attachments though, even though they efficiently connect together.

The Dyson Ball Animal Origin vacuum works great on my carpet and hardwood floors. It was NOT hard to push. Some of the reviews I read before I bought it said it was hard to push on carpet but I didn’t have a problem pushing it. One thing I noticed is that the electrical cord was a little longer than on my old Dyson which was nice when vacuuming large rooms. Very happy with my purchase !

Do NOT buy this!! This has so much power you cannot move it on a low pile rug much less my high pile carpets unless you are a muscle builder!! It comes without the attachment piece- you will get the run around from WalMart %26 Dyson and have to pay out of pocket! This feels heavy and like cheap plastic! I made the mistake of recycling the box before use and I am stuck with this nightmare!!
