This is a powerful vacuum but you can't vacuum higher pile carpet because it doesn't have a self adjusting head. It's an older model which wasn't listed that way so I can't vacuum every room with it. Very disappointed. I was also charged $50.00 more on Walmart's page as Dyson has the same one on their website for $229.99. Someone owes me $50.00. I'm thinking of sending it back due to the lack of carpet sizes I can vacuum. And the price. And it smells like rubber burning which I figured that may be worth all new vacuums. At least I hope so.

we had the original Dyson animal. we kept it alive until we were no longer able to find replacement parts. zdare say wechad it for 15' 20 years. the ball feature on this machinevid an added plus. it doesn't look as " sturdy" as our other machine. will see how it stands up but it may outlive us too!

This is a great vacuum cleaner. Very powerful. However, I don't recommend it for older people. It is heavy. And as much as I love it, I'm not able to carry it upstairs to vacuum. So, I'm currently using it for my downstairs. I still have my old battery powered Dyson that I use upstairs.

What a steal on pricing, but correct - the stair tool and attachment holder is missing. Quick fix as all you have to do is call Dyson. They’ll register the item and process replacement for no extra charge. If you have old dyson vacuums, you can save the replacements and reuse them aswell.

Difficult to restore extension wand/tube into housing, pinches fingers, if not careful or patient, easy to break plastic notches. Releasing and Latching the upright feature is difficult, feels like your breaking the machine. Vacuum sucked my hair in from the top! That was a shocker! Very heavy and is quiet loud. All pets flee in terror. Will suck the crome off a bumper, so I got what I wanted. Ate a throw rug, but a good suction will do that. I feel like Im walking around with a tornado on a leash, this thing picks up everything! I have hardwood and tile, my home is elevated so it vibrates the floor when I vacuum. If it hadn't pinched my fingers just trying to put the extion wand in it's home, I would have rated it 5/5.

I would recomend this based on the vacuum itself. The vaccum itself does and excellet job. However the hose and pole extenstion are difficult to move and maneuver. Outstand job on picking up animal hair. The quality is seems durable so far. Having been using for 3 months. I would buy Dyson again.

I hate this vacuum. It suctions so hard you cannot effectively vacuum.

I have use dyson for years and they never let down, best vacuum on the market and this is the best price.

Decent for hardwood floors, but awful for carpet. Difficult to maneuver overall. Bulky and awkward.

Where is my refund , you have had it for two weeks. On you site one cannot find returns why do you hide them!
