I think the extract could be a little stronger or maybe I'm just spoiled by my homemade. This will do in a pinch when my own isn't ready to use.

The vanillin is not very fragrant and I find it requires more than what I typically use, but it was affordable and functional

Poor taste does not taste like quality vanilla would not recommend. Almost worse than imitation vanilla very disappointing.

This is good quality vanilla. We use it in everything. Plus, it makes a good mosquito repellent if you rub it on yoyr skin.

Rising Star was Magnolia before. whatever happened this product is terrible tasting, smells off flavor. I will not waste $ on this again.

You know how it is with Pure Vanilla Extract - awfully expensive, but absolutely needed. This vanilla is good, and the price is good. Also, I like the larger bottle - it lasts longer.

I tried Magnolia -Star pure vanilla because McCormick's pure vanilla price has increased way to much and I'm so glad I did. Love the smell and taste so much better that I immediately reordered another bottle.

I splash this into lots of things.. Oatmeal especially gets brighter, as does yoghurt used as a dip or sauce. It is a must have and I appreciate having it still affordable. This brand is very comparable to the previous one.

I purchased this for a friend that bakes a lot of cakes and cookies for others and she thought it was good other than she had to use additional to get the full flavor.
