My daughter thought it would be a great idea to put a diaper on our little dog since she had diarrhea. When I got home from work I was not impressed. Since we live on a farm I let her out of the house to play in the creek before giving her a bath. Surprisingly she got good and clean with her scrub down. Tick season is not in full swing here so I can't testify to that but I did notice a mild "medicine" like smell that made me think it was going to be effective. She also did not scratch as much as normal so it worked good for her sensitive skin. I am glad I have the product and would consider purchasing when I run out.

It smells super good and after the bath I noticed her scratching has gone down. She's usually itchy but scratching has been minimal lately! In addition to her monthly flea, tick and heartwork supplement, this is a great product to cover all those bases as we enter prime tick season (I'll feel more comfortable bringing her on hikes after using this.) Full disclosure, my dog did NOT have fleas before I received this product. However, one of the most important things I look for in any shampoo for my dog is whether or not it irritates her skin. My dog is half shih-tzu and she has that shih-tzu allergy skin. Many flea and tick shampoos have irritated her skin in the past, and I'm always nervous to try a new one ESPECIALLY if/when she has had fleas because her skin is already so irritated. I'm happy to report that this one did not make her itchy at all! Would definitely recommend if your pup is an itchy girl like mine and I will be keeping this in my bathroom for those trips to visit grandma and grandpa out in the country in the summer lol (her favorite place and time to pick up a few fleas).

The shampoo does say that you need to leave it on the dog for a long period of time, like most other flea and tick shampoos that I have tried. Getting my dogs to stay in the bath for that amount of time is almost impossible but I was able to get pretty close to the recommended amount of time. Best thing about the shampoo is that it leaves behind a great minty smell and both of my boys smelled great after their baths.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this shampoo because not only did it work, but it didn't make my dog's skin itchy or dry afterwards. My dog has very sensitive skin so we don't typically change the shampoo, but this is something that I would definitely recommend. I can't tell much about the tick and flea control since there's no way for me to know if my dog has been exposed, but he hasn't gotten any so far. I would definitely recommend!

The scent is absolutely wonderful-it's fresh and gentle, which made bath time much more pleasant for both me and my dog. My dog is always rolling around in the yard, so he tends to get a bit stinky. It was such a relief to wash him with a shampoo that not only cleans but leaves a subtle, pleasant fragrance. What I loved most is that I didn't have to use as much product as I normally would with other brands. It lathered up beautifully with just a small amount, which made the whole process easier and more economical. While it's not flea and tick season yet, I do feel confident that the scent alone would help deter them. I can't speak to the flea and tick effectiveness just yet, but based on my experience with the shampoo's quality and scent, I'd definitely purchase it again. Highly recommend

Firstly, a little goes a long way. My fur baby is medium sized. I applied 3 handfuls of shampoo which was too much as I had to rinse several times to wash it all off. Two handfuls would have been plenty. I love the peppermint oil scent and the lather. After the bath my dog's fur is super soft. Most importantly he was miserably scratching at fleas before his bath but now sleeping like a pup, not scratching at all. Love it! Will definitely purchase in the future.

She is getting older so she seems to be smelly more so we have to bath at least once a week so we like trying new products to help her smell and her skin. Using it as a flea treatment is a back up. We have her on medication for fleas and ticks, I would rather be proactive rather reactive when it come to flea infestation, so I like that this is back up plan if we miss a dose. I like that the product has oils that are suppose to help her skin. it seems as dogs get older, their skin is more sensitive with rashes and bumps. The product did not lather up as much as I like. I feel like with more lather and bubbles, the better it is cleaning, but what do I know. Additionally, I understand the peppermint oil is beneficial, the smell of the shampoo smells more like medication that it smells good. Over I may buy again, but will continue to try new products to better address my dogs needs.
