The texture is really good and it's not gummy. I like that there are a few different pasta shapes to choose from depending on your recipe.

I typically have a hard time eating other protein pastas, so this one is different - THAT'S for sure! The texture was not slimy at all and came out beautifully al dente; I was shocked! I really appreciate that this pasta has extra protein which helps to keep my kids' bellies fuller for longer unlike other pastas which seem to burn off quickly! The texture holds up well with the sauces used or it's tasty eaten simply with grated parmesan, olive oil, and butter ( a favorite in our house). Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

It does have a bit more "bite" than a traditional pasta, which I am OK with but just something to keep in mind. Would probably hold up exceedingly well in a pasta salad. Enjoyed with a light pesto sauce the flavor is just a bit lacking. Overall it is OK, but not my favorite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a couple other brands of protein pasta before and I thought they were... okay, so I had similar expectations about this one, but I actually really like this one! I didn't feel constantly aware that I was eating "different" pasta. It tasted great, it held the sauce well, and the texture was a little more dense than normal pasta but not in a distracting way. The only thing to keep in mind for the future is that I can't eat as much of this pasta as I can of regular pasta, I got full really fast, haha.
