The consistency was spot on and was comparable to regular mac n cheese. The serving size per the back of the box had good macros and left my kids full. We made it on a busy sports night. So I appreciated the ease and speed that it took to make and get dinner on the table! Especially after sports the added protein was a bonus! I will say we made two different flavors at once and everyone enjoyed them both! This box had the classic Mac n cheese flavor you would expect. Our whole family ate them and enjoyed it. No complaints here or aftertaste remarks were said by picky Mac n cheese eaters.

It has the same classic flavor of Kraft's original macaroni and cheese with some added protein. I didn't notice much difference in flavor but I did enjoy the slightly firmer texture of the noodles. The cheese sauce was creamy, smooth and flavorful and everything was well packaged. Overall it's a nice option to get a little extra protein In your diet. I was a bit worried because of the protein and fiber it would change the consistency or flavor of the Mac and cheese but it didn't at all, it was lovely and creamy and perfect! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's face it. Protein is king right now and there are lots of protein enriched foods that are just…not great. However, this tastes like the same Kraft Mac n'cheese that we've always known. The texture is the same, the flavor is the same, and honestly, it's ideal for those moments of “I just don't want to make a full meal” that can come with executive dysfunction that lots of neurospicy people grapple with. It would also be useful for anyone struggling with ARFID because it's a “safe food” for many but with the added benefit of a macronutrient that would usually be lacking in the normal version. I'll probably be keeping some boxes on hand for girl dinner style nights 😅

You choose how tender you want the pasta and then add the ingredients to create a delicious side. It has a good amount of protein and fiber to include to your diet.
