The taste is different but it is a good trade off for a healthier option. The consistency is the same as the original option. Overall it's a good side option but my family does still like the original Kraft best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this! I gave it also to my twin toddlers (notoriously picky eaters, especially for pasta) and they did eat it which is a win! I boil frozen diced peas and carrots in with the noodles and just served with fruit for dessert. I also tasted some of course and I also liked it, I think the noodles are a bit chewier than usual is the biggest difference I noticed. Yummy! Also looks great and tasty.

Super easy to make, took under 20 minutes and my teens can do it themselves! The packaging was cute and clearly shows the new protein additions and the box had the regular amount you would expect from Kraft!

They are more dense in the power mac, but I enjoyed it. I will purchase this in the future as it is a quick and easy side dish to help increase your protein.

The noodles are denser and a bit chewier, but that's not bad and I personally prefer it over softer noodles. The smell is the same as the original, and makes me hungry while I make it. Preparing it is simple and makes for a delicious addition to any meal or a good snack on its own. The extra protein and fiber are a great help.

She had no idea it was any different than her favorite Kraft Mac n Cheese and now I don't feel guilty letting her eat it for dinner! It took a little longer for the noodles to cook but that was the only difference!

The kids and adults both really enjoyed trying protein rich twist on a classic. The flavors are delicious and almost identical to the original gluten version of the Kraft Mac n cheese. The sauce is cheesy and smooth. The protein macaroni are a bit more Al dente but the difference is barely noticeable and still very delicious. The biggest takeaway for me was that the kids didn't even realize they were served something new and it kept them full twice as long which is a huge win for me! Overall im very happy to discover this new version and will be purchasing it now going forward.
