It's a bit more liquid and the pasta has a more whole grain feel. But lifting this makes me want to switch to this for the protein and fiber it's close enough.

In terms of the quality of the food, I think this was far more inferior to the regular Kraft. The taste was almost wooden, with the cheese not exactly coming through. To be honest, I couldn't even smell it while I was cooking it. It was just mush. The serving sizes seemed fine but I'm not sure I'd want that much. It is perfectly serviceable if necessary, but by no means would I use this as a source of protein or replacement for regular Kraft. Wouldn't recommend, but it is held up by the fact that it is cheap, easy to make food.

I pulled them right at the suggested time because I didn't want them getting mushy, but they still had a bit of chew. Next time I'd probably let them go a little longer and test one before draining the sauce didn't get as creamy as regular Kraft. It was a little thinner but it still had a decent cheesy flavor. My husband and 9-year-old said it was fine overall. Bottom line if you're looking for extra protein in a prepackaged option and don't mind it tasting a bit different from the original, it's worth trying. It has 17 g of protein and is way more filling than regular mac & cheese. This is definitely a pantry staple at my house from now on.

Not the healthiest in terms of sodium and artificial flavors/colors, but it does have higher fiber content which is a plus. Not a terrible choice but wouldn't be my first choice
