We love our mattress. We have had it for about 8 months and are very pleased with it so far. We sleep cool and comfortable. We wish the Purple platform base, sheets, and mattress protector had been available when we purchased our mattress. It was a bit tricky to figure out what to do for these needs.

Absolutely love this mattress. Have had two back surgeries and this mattress finally alleviates tension from long days. The only fault I can find with it is now it is a struggle to actually get out of bed in AM due to comfort level. Good problem to have!

We love sleeping on our purple mattresses so much that we just bought another one for our second bedroom. You wake up feeling refreshed, never sore and sleep sound from getting a good night's sleep. We bought another brand and threw it in the trash after two years and went back to Purple for our latest purchase. We wouldn't buy anything else. Nothing compares on the market.

What makes the difference for somebody? Great products and god awful customer service. Good products and exceptional customer service. It made me smile looking at these other reviews to know I'm not the only one who had the worst possible experience with Purples customer service. Love their bed, will never buy anything from them again solely based on principle. Casper will do just fine. The only thing they did right was appropriatelye refer me to a sheet company called Sheex that have amazing sheets but ALSO exceptional customer service. I had really high expectations for this mattress as I live in Florida so I was excited to try out the improved air flow. I found the airflow was an improvement however the mattress is so firm I am having extreme back pain from sleeping on this mattress. My figure is relatively small (5 4' & 110lbs) it seems like I don't have enough weight laying down to push the mattress down resulting in an extremely hard bed and am very sore in the morning.

If you liked the feeling of sleeping on a park bench, then this is the mattress for you! I was really excited about getting my new mattress with hopes that sleeping would be a dream. This mattress is super thin compared to my old mattress & it's extremely hard. There is no plushness or cradling it feels like you are sleeping on a hard park bench. Last night I sat on edge & totally slipped off, this mattress has no edge support at all. My fiancé suggested we get a mattress topper, that is absolutely not happening, who pays $1000+ for a mattress & then you have to buy mattress topper. I'm side & stomach sleeper & i wake up with hip pain that wasn't present before. I might as well put a pillow & blanket on my hard wood floors at least that's free! Of course I emailed purple & they make you keep the mattress for 21 days before you can return it or before a sleep specialist can help you. I don't need help just need to return this overpriced park bench. I have 5 purple pillows on my bed & the purple seat cushions which are great but this mattress is not good at all.

We're three weeks in and my shoulder and hip pain while in bed are getting better but I'm still having back pain and I think it's because my body insists on sleeping on my stomach! I try so hard to sleep on my back or side and always wake up on my stomach! My husband is loving it though!

This is the first mattress I've bought at this price range. It is taking much longer to break in than I expected, it's still stiff and I'm stiff waking up with back pain, although it's not as bad compared to the last mattress. At this price range I would have expected a lot more out of it. The only reason I wouldn't give it three stars is because I don't have much to compare it to.

The mattress came in a week or so, and was easy to unpack by myself. I bought a twin XL. So far, the mattress is sturdy, yet comfortable. Some reviewers say that the mattress isn't comfortable for side sleepers, but I have to disagree. I sleep very well!

I've only had the mattress for about a month but I am so far happy with my purchase. One can feel the grid material underneath, but it's not bothersome. I feel like I'm laying on air. My significant other has body pains to which he says he is now sleeping better throughout the night.
