I purchased a purple mattress about two years ago. When I first got the mattress I thought there was a body adjustment period, so I wanted to be fair. After two years it's safe to say that how I feel about it now is pretty solid. The mattress is overall comfortable if you sleep on your sides or stomach, however this mattress causes immense pain for me in my lower back if I sleep on my back. Because of this I have been a side and stomach sleeper with this bed. The claims that the mattress stays cool is accurate, this bed stays refreshingly cool as long as you use the correct sheets. Flannel, cloth or anything a bit heavy is a no go if you want to remain cool. I found bamboo, and silk work best for me. I want to be honest so if someone like me ends up debating on this bed, you know what you're getting into as it is really hard to decide on something you buy on the internet. The price is pretty steep, and I hope that this bed works out for you. For me it's a comfortable sleep but annoying that it is restricted to certain positions so I have to be conscious of that even when delirious and tossing and turning. It's also aggravating to have certain types of sheets you must use to fully enjoy your very expensive mattress. Not sure if it helps but I am a heavier user, and this may be why the bed isn't as comfortable for me as it would be for someone who is a normal weight. Hope this review helps someone who might need it. No hate towards purple, I just want to be honest.

Hey my name is Taylor and I bought a queen size mattress for my sailboat. I had to cut it down myself to fit into the v-berth but it fits perfectly now. I moved onto my sailboat about a month ago and the purple mattress has been amazing. I use to wake-up in the morning with back pain almost everyday with the box spring at my house, now it's very few times I have pain. Thank you purple for a good nights sleep.

My son loved it, but me? Not so much. My hips sank into it noticeably more than the rest of me, so it caused stress on my lower back. I am in my 50's, and so I think I am getting too old, whereas, my son is in his 20's (I can't sleep on my stomach, anymore, like he can), and I expect that he will be buying one, when he moves out. I live in a small town, and for the return, I donated the mattress to a local church. Purple promptly refunded the purchase price. I'm sorry that it didn't work out, but I am glad that I tried it.

it's a really high quality mattress. I've had it for a couple of weeks, but it's not working for me. I also don't like that it's so low. It makes the headboard look odd. If you sleep with someone who gets up super early (or have a large dog), it's nice not to feel the movement from the other side.

I feel like this is the best mattress I have slept on. The material shows a real noticeable difference. In my opinion there are nice memory foam mattress, but to feel a real difference you have to get the foam mattresses that start at a couple thousand. I don't think you can compete with the level of comfort with the price.

This is the best mattress I ever sleeper on. I have had very expensive mattresses that costed 3 times more then Purple mattress and doesn't feel like anything I have expereance. However I did receive the pillow but if I were to change one thing about the pillow I would say make the pillow more thicker so your neck can be more aligned and supported

I am a side/ back sleeper and my husband is a stomach sleeper so it has been difficult to find a mattress that we both like. We both LOVE our Purple Mattress! And, I can't promise that this will happen for everyone, but my husband snores WAY less now, and when he does it's quieter/softer. It has to be the mattress because nothing else has changed recently! I already have trouble falling asleep, and his loud obnoxious snoring would always start right when I'm ready to finally fall asleep, but not anymore!

My husband and I have had this mattress for about two years. There's a "100 night guarantee" which is hilarious because the pain we had didn't start until right after that. We can't get comfortable, we wake up in extreme back pain every morning. And of course there's nothing we can do because it states after the "guarantee". The biggest waste of money and biggest regret ever on this mattress. Do yourself a favor and get a normal mattress and don't fall for the hype!

I wanted to try the Purple because I was having constant low back pain and my arms would fall asleep almost every night. The first couple of days on the mattress I couldn't sleep. My body felt like it was being stretched, and I wanted to send it back!! Something happened though, by day 4 I didn't even wake to my 3 year old coming into our room! The following days and weeks, my arms stopped falling asleep, I quit waking up to pee in the night, my low back doesn't hurt, and I have been getting the best sleep ever!! I'm super happy with my mattress and I have been recommending it to everyone!!
