I was skeptical that the mattress would be comfortable, but boy was I wrong. It supported my lower back perfectly. For the first time in a 6 months I have zero lower back pain. I was also concerned it would sleep hot. It does not. It sleeps cool and comfortable!

We tested in a local store and ended up purchasing direct from Purple. We bought the lowest priced mattress - we liked the medium priced mattress in the store but were uncomfortable with the higher price point. I am a back sleeper so the softness of the mattress did not work for me but my husband is a side sleeper and absolutely loves it. I upgraded the sheets and am very pleased with those. I also purchased the mattress protector and love it as well - we bought another mattress pad but ended up using the Purple one.

I already sent in a review right after I bought not 1 but 2 twin mattresses. I didn't get a response. For what you're charging per mattress, for the Faith I put in you to have purchased 2 mattresses, sight unseen, I believe I deserved better. I should've received a response back. And immediately. Everything was great in shipping etc. Buu the chemical smell from just one was nasty, pungent & has yet to go away! I've had a large fan blowing out the smell of the mattresses all day, everyday, 24/7 since they arrived. Still no relief & we still don't sleep in that bedroom as we are waiting for the smell to dissipate. That was something that you should've told me prior to purchase. I feel ripped off & would like my $$ back because of the endless chemical smell & your lack of concern. I also have no intention of shipping them back because the weight of each mattress is very heavy & I wouldn't be able to get the mattresses back in their duffle bags. What now? I need to use those beds. The smell is making that impossible. Sincerely, Cheryl P

Love this thing! Took some getting used to since I used to stick my arms under my pillow when I sleep but with purple pillows/mattress you cant really do that which is a good thing for ergonomics. I do notice that my side is already a fraction more squishy than my wife's but it's hardly noticeable after 2 months. Overall loving the way I changed my sleep and how I feel after.

I wanted to love this mattress. It does offer good relief to pressure points and is nice and cool but its much too soft for me. It does not adequately support my back and when I sleep with my partner we are in a mush pit together. The return process is fairly easy but weird. Be sure to check that out if you are thinking of the 100 day trial.

Sleeping better than ever. Love the support. We don't wake each other when one of us moves in and out of the bed. We purchased a king bed for the first time and I feel like the center is more dense than either side. While I don't feel like I'm falling off the edge, I do sense a slight slope from the center to the edge. It does not interfere with my sleep!

My order was confused and the supposedly included mattress cover wasn't included. We used a regular mattress cover the first week until the purple cover arrrived. It made the purple mattress feel like other. My wife has had conflicting feelings about the purple. Also, the weight of the purple made it a real bear to move around. FOr some reason it much wider by several inches than our current king and it hangs over the edges of our king platform several inches which is awkward.

This bed is hard to explain in words. When you first lay down, the bed is very soft and comfortable but firm and supportive at the same time. I for one don't have any more back pain as this bed never sags. My wife and I love our king size purple mattress and would definitely buy another one in the future!

We were super excited to get the Purple mattress in the mail after reading all about it. Unfortunately, it felt really weird and we could feel every nook and cranny of the underlining material, kind of like a weird sponge material. We didn't like how hard it was for us to try and turn over or get up while laying down in it. Fortunately, they made the return process easy.

I'll be honest, I was thinking it would be a bit more comfortable than it is but overall I'm still happy with the mattress. I think the problem for me is I'm a bigger person so it doesn't really cradle my pressure points in the way it's designed. So, side sleep isn't as comfortable as I would like but stomach sleep is pretty great. The pillow is actually my favorite--it cradles my head perfectly w/o getting too stiff. The sheets are 'meh'. The fabric drapes around too easily, and if you toss and turn like I do, that means it ends up entangled around your torso. Plus, I've only used them less than a month and the fitted sheet has already started pilling--not good. Overall, I'm still happy with the purchase, just not as happy as I had hoped to be. If you are going to buy anything, definitely buy a Purple pillow at least, it's the best.
