I have horrific insomnia, plus a thyroid disorder, which equals very little sleep. While I still wake up frequently at night, my Purple mattress has given me the best sleep I've had in my adult life. My husband used to compete nightly for the title of World's Best/Worst Snorer, but even that is at a minimum. Honestly, this mattress is life-changing. I love you so much, Purple mattress.

Delivery took a couple weeks which was known up front. Packaging was great, unwrapping was easy, and the mattress popped right into shape. Ive had it about a month and it was not a day and night difference. I will give it another month and then send it back. The mattress is on the firm side, so I side sleeper like myself endures shoulder pain. I added a 4" mattress topper to give some cushion, which has helped a bit. Not completely satisfied yet

My wife and I are in our 60's. We are Jack Sprat in reverse. She is slim (5'4", 117 lbs) and I am fairly tall & husky (6', 216 lbs). We had an old Sleep Number bed and had both started having back aches. My side was getting to be like a hammock. My side of the mattress had a slow leak so the middle would sink throughout the night. When we got the Purple mattress, my wife immediately liked it and it helped her get a better night's sleep. But I had a hard time adjusting. I took the foam cushioning from under the Sleep Number bed and put on top of the Purple mattress for a week or two then I went back to sleeping on the Purple mattress. I have finally gotten to the point where I can get 6 or 7 hours' sleep before the aches start to keep me from sleeping anymore. Purple cannot reverse the aging process, but it helps make it go a bit better. The Purple sheets are outstanding. We really enjoy them. They are stretchy and have a great feel to them. We had similar experiences with our Purple seat cushions as with our Purple mattress. My wife has a big cushy office chair and has been battling sciatica and lower back issues for several years. I have a Herman Miller office chair that I like pretty well but I sit long hours and get normal aches in the hind-end associated with sitting for too long. So when the Good Lord was telling me to get off my hind-end more often, I decided instead to get a Purple seat cushion, the Royal. My wife got the Ultimate. She still has the lower back issues but the Purple cushion is better than the many other options she has tried. The Royal Purple cushion does not feel much better than my mesh Herman Miller seat and it elevates me so the back is too low and the lumbar region is in the wrong place. My seat cushion was not wasted, though. My wife uses it on her other chairs. Purple people have been very good to deal with. They had a big promotion around Thanksgiving 2016 and incurred a significant back-log. And that leads to my only issue with Purple policy they charged our card right away, but it took a couple of weeks to get our mattress shipped (sooner than their estimate, though), a month to ship the sheets, and 1-1/2 months to ship the seat cushions.

I knew after the first night I slept on this mattress it was the single best purchase of my adult life. I hadn't slept so well in years. I've had the mattress for a little over a month now and I couldn't be happier. My only concern is how long it will hold up over time, but only time will tell I suppose. Regardless, I am a huge fan of Purple and would recommend it to everyone, especially a side sleeper!

My husband begged for a Putple mattress for years and I always told him no because I couldn't try it before I bought it. Well I finally caved in and bought one and have been converted into the Purple family! The mattress is extremely comfortable even though I'm not a fan of foam at all. I would highly recommend this to my family and friends!

I fell in love with this bed. Only thing- I saw something about it not letting your limbs fall asleep if you lay on them. Not so true. I've woken up a couple times with my arm asleep but no bed can fix that. I sleep much more sound than ever. Especially with my firm "my pillow". I get great sleep now.

I like the mattress and was REALLY looking forward to getting it however a drawback for me is that when sleeping flat on my back, I wake up with light pain and for a few hours into the day my lower back will hurt. I've tried it for a few weeks, problem seems to be consistent. Some nights I can feel light to medium pressure in my lower back so I will either need to bend my knees or turn on my side to get comfortable enough to sleep. My experience with soft beds is 50/50. Some really amazing, and some really bad...for me this falls right in the middle. I will keep using the purple bed for now, hopefully my lower back will adjust. btw I really enjoy the purple eye mask, it block out more light than others do AND the seat cushion is really appreciated as well. I'd also like to buy one that's twice as thick as the free one that comes with the mattress.

For anyone that wakes up with pain from sleeping, this is the mattress for you. I would frequently wake up throughout the night and would wake feeling sluggish and exhausted. This mattress provides you with the comfort that your body deserves. I no longer wake up shoulder and back pain. I feel rested and rejuvenated. My only complaint is that I didn't buy this mattress sooner. I'm actually sad when I'm away from home because I know I won't be sleeping as soundly and as comfortably as I could be if I were on my purple mattress.

As an LMT, I ask people on a daily basis - how do you sleep at night ? The wrong mattress can definitely attribute to back pain. A restful nights sleep can make all the difference ! I have fibromyalgia, so any type of pressure eventually causes pain and I used to wake up constantly but with this mattress I sleep through the night. So if you have the same thing as me, this was like a heaven sent for me, I went from sleeping 3 to 4 hrs a night to being able to sleep 6 to 7 almost 8 some night's, it is definately worth it, I love my mattress
