I kept the mattress (Original Queen) for just over two months, hoping that it would get to be more comfortable. It did not. I tossed and turned every night on it; some mornings I woke up really sore and stiff. I am a side sleeper and felt no support for my pressure points and the motion transfer was non-existent (I could feel a 10 lb cat walking on the other side of my bed). When I contacted customer service to explain I might be returning it, I stated that the new purple 3 or 4 mattresses were too expensive for me. The rep told me that they have a "great exchange program" for anyone still within the trial period, I would just need to go visit a showroom. The way it was worded, it made me think they offer a deal for the more expensive mattress - other people I shared the email with thought that as well. So I went for an hour drive to Alpine to check it out. Turns out there is no "great exchange program." I would just have to pay for the more expensive mattress and they would coordinate the pick up/drop off. I felt it was really misleading since I had clearly stated I was not going to spend $2000+ on a mattress when I have already tried one from their company. When I shared this poor experience with customer service, I got a response that pretty much made it sound like the rep just wanted me to go there, I'd see the new purple mattress, and would decide to spend more money regardless of the price. Also, heads up about the 100 night sleep guarantee - you have to have your return process completed before the 100 nights are up. Per the return form: "In order to get your refund, this return must to be completed and a donation receipt emailed to us by the end of your 100 night trial." So don't think you can actually try out the mattress for 100 nights - if you do, and do not like it, you won't be able to return it.

At first I was stoked and loved it. I am a bigger girl at 300 pounds. I missed on there where it said that it has about a 300 pound limit. I feel like it's already worn out in one spot. I think I may be returning the mattresses. I love the power base though !!!

I bought my first purple to replace an old temperpedic. Loved it, but it had a indentation failure after two years. Purple replaced it promptly, so I ordered another for my second home. They seem to stand by their products and they sleep well. For the price it blows most out of the water. However, I only have the basic model. When I ordered I noticed they now have upgraded integrations that make them on par with expensive mattresses. I cannot speak to those as I wanted a good mattress at a good price. 1k is ok, 5k not so much. Try the base model. If you don't like it search elsewhere for the $.

We purchased this mattress/frame for son and daughter-in-law and have gotten nothing but great feedback from them on how comfortable and awesome the mattress is and how solid the frame is, with NO NOISE. Our son was having back problems and now, no more trips to the Chiropractor for him. Thank you Purple!

I recently left active duty service with the Marines and have had lower back issues for awhile now from my time in. Because I'm a back sleeper, on my old mattress I would wake up many times with severe pain in my lower back and stuff from my muscles guarding the area. After sleeping on my purple mattress, I can finally sleep through the night without pain and discomfort. Looking forward to getting the pillows to go along with me mattress here soon!

Firstly allow me to tell you something about myself. I am 6'4 and about 265 pounds. I hurt my back last year and was told I had a bulging disc and a herniated disc. The pain was bad but my quality of life suffered most. We bought a new mattress and it was ok, but within 6 months it was saggy. then we tried another foam type mattress and it wasn't very good at dealing with my back. long story short I never could sleep without heavily medicating myself. and then mornings would be a trial of pain trying to get out of bed. Then....Purple. I had pretty much given up but I now sleep the night straight through and wake up with no back pain. Sure just living life means that by the end of the day my back is in a lot of pain but now with my purple mattress I wake up every morning with no pain. I would have easily paid twice as much for this level of support and pain relief. I will say that it took about 3 days to get used to sleeping on it, but after changing the way I sleep I found full night rest and painfree mornings. Thank you so much for this. you have literally changed my life for the better... and I mean Literally in the classic way...literally!

After years of difficulty getting a goid nights sleep and trying a number of different beds, we found the Purple. Not only is the Goldie Locks commercial entertaining and informative, the bed Provides the best night's sleep i've had in years. You guys are awesome. Thank you

Casper, tempurpedic, sleep number, don't have anything on Purple beds. I didn't even have the "get used to it" time with the bed, I loved it the first night. I've been finding reasons to lay in bed even when I'm not sleeping! Don't hesitate, I'm a real person who really loves my new Purple bed.

After conducting some thorough research on several mattresses, I narrowed my decision down to either the Purple or Casper. I was on a budget and looked at all the online reviews and comparisons with other mattresses. I have always liked the feel of memory foam, but as I get older, I am sleeping too hot. Honestly, the first few nights I slept on it, I was not very comfortable; however, I have had my mattress for about two months now, and I am sleeping through the night and, most importantly, not sleeping hot as I was previously. The material in the Purple mattress is unique...it is not coils, and it is not memory foam, so it took me a week to get used to the different feel of the mattress, so customers need to give their Purple mattress the recommended month before judging it. I am happy with the Purple now as it has adjusted to my body type; however, I am also comfortable with the 100 day trial return policy in case it does not work out in the long-term. The only reason I am giving the Purple a Good instead of an Excellent is because I want to see how it holds up after sleeping on it for 100 days, and I am thinking of purchasing the powerbase, so want to get the full effects of the mattress. I do want to note that I also bought the sheets and they are fabulous!!

I purchased the royal seat cushion to get a feel for what the mattress might possibly be like. I am so excited for my bed, let me tell you. At first, my impression of the cushion without the protector was "holy heck this is amazing". I put the protector on and I lost that initial feel which I was a little bummed about, As weeks went on and I sat on the cushion more, it became softer and more conforming. I love my cushion, a seat at the office just isn't the same without it. We ordered a purple mattress after ordering a Helix and sleeping on it for two months. We will be returning the Helix and receiving a Purple. It's been almost 2 weeks and still no shipping notification but I'm sure it will be worth the wait once it gets here. I will review when that happens!
