This bed is really nice. I thought it would be hard and firm but it definitely wasn't. My kids could jump on this mattress and it was actually bouncy but if I'm on the other end I barely feel it. The topper is so soft and really does cradle your curves. I could even lay on my stomach comfortably which I haven't been able to do forever. The mattress also stayed cool and the sheets were super soft and stretchy . I wanted to love this mattress . My husband loved it but I had to return it because my hips needed a former mattress because of my rheumatoid arthritis. But if I didn't have arthritis this mattress would have been a keeper. Returning the mattress was easy. The customer service was helpful from start to finish and didn't even try to upsell me they were honest and patient. I will definitely recommend to others . I wish they put more samples in the bed kit of the purple mattress so I could give them out so people could feel how different it is.

First let me say, yes the 3 seems like a lot of money, mainly because it is. But, sleep and health is easily worth the investment. The Purple 3 (as we will call it) came with free and White Glove delivery. Which is great because I have a bad back and did not have to lift anything! They even took my "older" mattress as well! I actually upgraded from the original Purple Mattress as I wanted something thicker and was more supportive. The original mattress is definitely for people on the smaller side.The Purple 3 checked all of the boxes I needed. It feels way more luxurious, has a thicker profile, side support, the coils are super supportive and you feel like you are laying on air. The Purple 3 feels like its medium firm and is great for me because I get support fot side and stomach sleeping. The Purple 3 sleeps cooler compared to other memory foam mattresses I've tried. I was able to use Affirm to make it easier to finance so that is also a huge plus. If you are worrying about the cost, dont, it's worth every penny! Thanks Purple for trying something new compared to other toppers and making something worth sleeping on! Note: If you order any of these mattresses and choose door step delivery and not getting it set up, be careful moving or setting these up solo. These mattress are heavy and can take some time to fully unwrap and setup. So get someone to help if possible but I did set the original Purple Mattress solo, I just took time.

Wonderful customer service. Last year I purchased my purple mattress and loved it but over the year I noticed it had started to sag on both mine and my husbsnds sides of the bed. I called the customer service number on the website and they emailed me right away with what they needed to see the sagging. 5 gallons of tea and 4 pictures later my new replacement purple mattress was on it's way. My back Thank's you very much purple team!

We have slept on a TempurPedic for the last 14 years and have loved it, so when I saw the ad for the Purple bed, and heard a couple reviews from several friends who purchased one, I decided it was time for a new bed. When my Purple mattress arrived and was left at my door by the awesome delivery guys, I couldn't wait for my teenaged son or my husband to get home, so I mustered all my strength and drug that puppy into my bedroom. Anyone who knows about the TemperPedics, knows they're fairly heavy, but that guy was off my king-sized bed frame faster than a diaper on a toddler. Getting the Purple mattress up onto my bed frame took a little more effort, luckily I read the handy-dandy instructions on the slick cover BEFORE I removed it! Once I finagled that bad boy up onto my bed frame (we have a captains bed that the main platform sits about 36 inches off the floor), I used the super awesome 'letter opener" that comes with the mattress to remove the cover and that the mattress uncurl on its own. Figures, my luck it was upside down, but not to worry, I wasn't going to let that get me down. I folded it in half and flipped it like a burger and all was right with the world. After all that effort, I had to just lay down a rest a bit, you know, to try it out and make sure it was as awesome as they say it is. Of course, it smells 'fresh from the factory", so I let it air out a fe hours and put on my sheets (without my usual mattress pad, per the instructions) and made my bed so it was all nice and pretty. The husband had no idea that I switched mattresses! That evening, we both hopped in to retire and my husband looked at me with a strange face and asked if I did something to the bed, that 'something was different". I admitted to the new purchase, he shrugged his shoulders and we fell asleep. Honestly, it was a great sleep from the first night, however for the next couple of days, we both woke up a little bit sore in our lower backs. He was sure it was an awful mattress and I should return it immediately. I explained to him that even if we have bought a spring mattress, we need to sleep at least 30 nights on it before we can really decide if it is a 'good" mattress. He begrudgingly agreed and since then has never complained. In fact, when he goes on business trips and comes home, he is SO happy to get back into this awesome Purple mattress that we now claim. When I say it takes a bit of adjustment, first it has to do with not using a mattress pad so that the sheets allow the bed to work the way it is designed. That allows you to initially feel every single little 'honeycomb-like" portion - almost like little octopus suction cups, caressing your entire body, but not in a creepy way - more like in a personal-masseuse-kind-of-way! Now, I don't even feel the 'individual" portions, I just feels wonderful to lay back in bed every evening as I drift off into slumber! :) PS- it is worth every penny, but if you don't like it after having it for a couple of weeks, you can always return it (but something tells me you won't!)

Super easy to put the purple brand cloth covered frame together. It looks great and is very sturdy My husband thanks the Purple team for that. Finally a bed that is comfortable for my back and hip. If you toss and turn due to back or hip pain try the Purple mattress. I have tried many mattresses and this one is it! Supportive but not hard. I Purchased the basic model with no coil springs Age 68. Still active with some hip arthritis and low back pain and sleeping on the floor till Purple came into my life ❤️

Cannot adequately express just how incredible this mattress is. As a long-term back injury sufferer, I thought that I was simply not going to be able to get a deep, restful night's sleep again. After my first week of sleeping on my Purple mattress, though, I am completely sold...and forever indebted to Purple!

The delivery staff who set up our mattress need to find a new job. These guys complained about it being a 2nd floor installation (no one ever asked). But seriously, don't you run into that occasionally? They weren't aware of their language in our house. To complete the sub-standard experience, they installed the bed 90° off, and then proceeded to lie about it. Other than the above, the bed is now sleeping better. Looking forward to great sleep.

My husband is 6'6 ~300 pounds has had many surgeries on joints and bones with 2 types of arthritis along with so much pain. He hates taking medication so his sleep is awful doesn't sleep, rolls around, gets up and down and is in pain all night with no rest so the day is just as bad. Since getting the bed he sleeping most of the night and feeling refreshed when he wakes up he does not feel pain when he sleeps and he loves it it is the best thing I ever did worth way more than what I paid and I have bought some very expensive beds in the past nothing helped but the purple bed I would highly recommend this for normal people but especially for anyone who has trouble sleeping pain pressure points etc. we love love love the bed by the way so to my dogs

The first night we slept on our Purple we were amazed at how little we tossed and turned that night. We literally woke up in the same position we fell asleep in! And, it was the first time we both awoke without any soreness or stiffness. It was a miracle! My hubby is 6'5" 350 lbs and I'm 5'2" 120 lbs and we equally feel supported by the mattress! If he moves at all during the night, I don't feel it! my only complaint is that it's so comfortable, you won't want to get out of bed in the morning!

I was hesitant about buying a mattress without having slept on it before. But went with it anyway. It arrived quickly and was easy to open up. We gave it a few hours to rise and then slept on it the same night. The standard smell that comes with memory foam/mattress toppers was definitely there but went away within 24-48 hours. We have now had our mattress for a month and it is HEAVENLY. Best night sleep every night. My partner has had chronic back pain and typically has flairs after sleeping in new places with different mattresses (hotels, friends homes, air bnbs, etc) but he has had NOTHING! No pain at all! I have recommended this mattress to multiple family members and I will continue to do so.
