My husband did a lot of research when looking for a new bed after our only 4 year old mattress that was suppose to never leave indents where we slept, had the worst dips in the mattress that made it horrible to sleep in. It was also double in price than the purple! This mattress leaves us refreshed the next day! Even waking up several times in the night for our infant! Great price for such a good bed!!

Overall this is an amazing product. It truly improves your sleep. I've had 3 family members and myself sleep on it for at least 1 night and everyone agrees they had a great night sleep. A few days after my bed purchase I ordered a seat cushion, which is also an amazing product that reduces my back pain on 3+ hr drives, only to find out that the next day I could have got a free seat cushion with my bed purchase. Overall I would have been a 5 star review if it weren't for feeling I over paid for a seat cushion I could have received along with my bed purchase.

We have always bought top-of-line mattresses that were just the right amount of softness. We were not sure a rolled up mattress in a bag would meet our needs. AND... we were delighted to have it easily set up and in use. Great comfort and just right softness. It was also several inches thinner than our old mattress which makes it easier to get in and out of bed... nice extra advantage for us. The mattress protector and sheets are terrific... soft and silky feeling. We haven't switched from our Down pillows to our new Purple pillows... yet. THANK YOU!

It is extremely comfortable. I trialled Purple in a mattress store approx 1 year ago, but was not in a financial posititon to purchase at that time. Might I suggest that additional info should be provided on the ordering site regarding the importance of proper base for which the Purple mattress must have. Also, it's important to note that I wake more refreshed with no body aches. However, I now realize that my neck would benefit from the purple pillow.

Love this bed. I love sleeping on this bed, when I actually get the chance to. I work in EMS and work 24-48hr shifts, so i'm not home every night and sometimes don't actually get to sleep in my own bed for days at a time. I'm use to sleeping on rough, hard, worn out beds that they provide us at work, and after sleeping on those for a few hours I tend to wake up with horrible back and neck pains. It got to the point that even when I did get a chance to sleep in my own bed at home that I would still wake up with horrible pains and usually felt worse than I did before I went to bed. After watching all the video's and reading multiple reviews, I took a chance and ordered the Purple Queen mattress. It arrived within a few days, and with a little help I was able to manhandle the heavy thing into our bedroom and get it unrolled. Also, want to add that I made the mistake and didn't order the Purple mattress protector and Purple sheets with the mattress, do yourself a favor and go ahead and spend the money and get them both. They are well worth the money. Anyway, got it all set up and put some jersey fabric sheets on the bed. That first night I was really excited to try this mattress out. Got in the bed with my Purple pillow they sent as a gift and fell asleep rather quickly. After a few hours I woke up and was burning up, and couldn't understand why I was so hot. Im one of those who can not sleep in a hot room or if I feel hot. Well the next day after reading on some more reviews I finally realized it must be those jersey cloth sheets. So I went ahead and ordered the mattress protector (must have for anyone with children, especially with our two year old) and a set of the Purple slate sheets. I got the sheets and mattress protector a couple days later. I went ahead and put them both on the bed and I cant tell you it makes a world of difference. The sheets keep the mattress cool and comfortable. That night I slept so well and so comfortable. I woke up actually feeling good and well rested. Every time I sleep on this bed I fall asleep fast, and wake up refreshed. It is definitely well worth the money.

At first I wasn't sure about the mattress because it feels so different from the way an average mattress feels, but after sleeping on it for a while I've noticed that I never wake up sore or tired. I always feel well rested and my body feels completely fine. With my old mattress I was waking up almost every morning with a terrible pain in my spine and lower back. It almost felt as though someone just hit me in the back with a shovel. I couldn't sleep on my side either or I would have serious hip pain that made mornings bad when they didn't have to be. Not like the purple mattress at all, I really like it. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something new.

My fiance and I got a 2" purple mattress yesterday and last night for the first time in forever we both slept great!!! He snores really bad and with him sleeping on his back last night he didn't snore at all, we didn't toss and turn, we woke up pain free this morning! Will 100% recommend to EVERYONE I know!

Purple was to make sure the sheets are stretchy. We got stretchy I cannot stress the importance of buying the RIGHT sheets for this bed. STRETCHY sheets are necessary to get the comfort and benefits of this bed. We both had lower back pain after three weeks, looked online at FAQs, and one of the responses from sheets. We noticed an immediate difference in how the mattress felt, and now are having zero issues and loving our Purple! :-D

I purchased the: king sized bed; platform; sheets; and pillow. Shipments arrived staggered, which is not great but not terrible either. The sheets are of excellent quality; the material is heavy in the hands but light to the feel, and cooling to the touch. The pillow is made entirely of the polymer, which means it's quite comfortable but also very heavy, It is not suitable for people who like to move around with their pillow. The pillow comes with an inflatable riser - a nice touch -, but I found no need for it as the pillow is of suitable height for me. The king-sized platform was easy to setup and appears very sturdy. That said I would avoid purchase of the queen-size platform which features a hardware configuration that looks questionable at best. The tools that ship with the platform, and more specifically the hex key, is made of a softer metal than the bolts and will compress under use, causing it to strip. That said it survived long enough to get the job done to a satisfactory degree. Unfortunately, the platform does not feature any mechanism - such as corner guards - to keep the mattress in place, so it's prone to moving along the surface of the platform pretty easily. The bed arrived as rolled, and was easy to remove from its canvas bag using the included letter opener. Unfortunately, the ease of unrolling the mattress ended there. There are multiple layers of plastic over the roll and the bed itself is rolled right side out. This means that on unrolling it you're presented with the bottom of the mattress and must then - essentially - manhandle a 145lb ultra dense, floppy biscuit in an attempt to flip it over. I'm surprised this wasn't something picked up during testing because it turned what was otherwise a breezy setup into a nightmare (especially with a back disability). Outgassing of the mattress presented and odd smell, comparable to plasticized play-dough, but was not unexpected and is not toxic, and was gone within a day. Otherwise, the rolled format of delivery made the mattress easy to maneuver into the house and get into a staging position. The overall setup experience I would rate a 3.5 - I would recommend the team at purple look into rolling the mattress bottom side out, so that when it unrolls it's right side up. Furthermore, the queen sized platform looks to be of questionable build quality judging by the instructions (a single, elongated bolt with butterfly nut holds the two pieces together, as opposed to the reinforced grating and multiple bolts that are used on the king model). Sleep wise, the bed represents a unique and difficult to describe experience. It's soft in the sense that you sink into it a little bit, but it's firm enough that you never feel as though you're not supported. It's easy to feel the polymer material, which presents a unique texture that is oddly pleasant. Quality of sleep is good and the bed, while not totally movement isolated, dampens the movement of others on the bed sufficiently so as not to be a nuisance. Temperature wise, the bed stays pleasantly cool. Overall the experience of the bed I would rate at 4.5 - the quality of the material and the unique properties it presents give it superlative qualities when considering the price.

My husband and I chose this mattress because it seemed like the only innovative idea in the industry. I definitely was not swayed by the commercials, which I really dislike. We also ordered the base. It came last night and we will set it up today. I have RA and a lack of sleep can trigger flareups. My husband sleeps like a rock anywhere, any time. So far, customer service has been wonderful. I will post another review after we've tried the mattress. I am crossing my fingers.
