I had a very hard time finding any reviews from very heavy People and the reason I decided to even post this. I'm 450# and the wife 180#. Interesting 1st night, kept waking up to see if the queen was comfortable. Now after 3 weeks or so, my wife loves it and I am really enjoying it too. I was real worried the bed wouldn't work. Worried that the bet would compress when I put my hand down to move, worried i'd fall off the edge, worried about most other things a extremely heavy person would be worried about. Well, I'm a side sleeper and I fall asleep very quick and don't wake up until it's time to make that short trip to 'jon' the back to sleep. Very pleased with sitting on the edge, yes there is the expected depression but not bad at all. Pushing on the mattress to move, again very acceptable and better than expected. I don't care about breaking or not breaking eggs, I do care about the wife and I getting a good night's sleep the Purple takes care of that very nicely. Glad I bought it and would buy again. Oh BTW neither of us bother the other when getting up or back in bed. When I'm in bed there is little no shuffling to get to a comfortable position. I'm down and fast asleep literally in a few seconds.

I did a lot of research before I decided to buy purple. I'm a side sleeper mostly & my boyfriend is a back sleeper. He had severe back pain & notice a difference immediately. It took me a couple nights to adjust. We've gotten the best sleep in our lives with purple.

My boyfriend and I have had our purple bed for 4 nights, and we absolutely love it! Not only is it the most comfortable mattress either of us has ever slept on, but the customer service we received was above and beyond! Our sheets and mattress both arrived a day ahead of schedule, and our platform base arrived 2 weeks ahead of schedule! Overall, Purple gave us an excellent experience and we have already highly recommended the company to all of our mattress-seeking friends!

I have converted to the belief in the one true god of semi-solid grid of purple goo that bestows upon all who lay upon it with delicious sleep. Comfort like I have never felt before, I welcome the inevitable bed sores with open arms as I know that the GRID will gently cradle them as it does all other parts of my body.

So far i've started having lower back pain from switching to the purple mattress. Sleeping on my side has improved but my lower back has started hurting which isn't good. I am willing to continue the test of the mattress to see if it improves but so far it hasn't.

I got hit with Covid a few days before my bed was delivered, only a matter of time since I work in a hospital. I had bad body aches like a was being squeezed. When first laid down that night my body aches lightened up and I knocked out! I have to say this bed did help me with the Covid body aches. Fast forward to today the virus has left my body, and I'm still sleeping cool and pain free. Bed is nice and firm, but not too firm it's never felt like any other mattress I've had before. I'm coming from a tuft&needle and this purple mattress blows it out of the bedroom! Can't wait to get the weighted blanket.

Due to health reasons, I've had to sleep upright in my recliner. So, I haven't been able to sleep in my new bed for more than about ten hours. However, I can already tell how comfortable it is! Having chronic pain (soft tissue, joint & bone) from MS, Fibromyalgia, arthritis and more, I'm so grateful to have this incredible mattress! I have bought many, many beds over the years with almost no success in being comfortable. This is the best and last one I'll need to purchase! I thank My Heavenly Father and I thank each of you involved in research, design, manufacturing and those that made it so quick and easy to purchase...right from my chair! We came from a bob-o-pedic style mattress. It had originally been fine but it had dished over the years. The Purple felt different. It compresses differently when you lie on it and, to us, had more of a feel of a sprung mattress (but ours is not the one with coils).. We preferred it but not by a great deal. Over a couple of years the Purple mattress too dished (we are both slim build with the heaviest of us being under 150 lbs). We notified Purple and to my surprise, after asking us to jump through a couple of hoops, they replaced the bed. I have no idea, and Purple seemed to avoid saying, whether, we had a problem unit or whether they all suffer from this issue to some extent or another. The new one feels just the same as the old one. I commend Purple for their customer service but I do not know if all purple regular model beds will dish. There are two further comments. The bed is heavy and so is difficult to move around to change the sheets, even for those of us who go to the gym regularly. And without an array of mattresses to move between it is a highly subjective process to assess a new mattress when all it can be measured against is one different old mattress.

I'm going to give the five stars, but with some additional info for you. I had an opportunity to sleep on one before I purchased. That one was on a bed frame with solid bottom as support. I used a previously owned frame under mine because I did not want to be that low to the floor. I am questioning if my frame is good overall around support for the mattress. I sleep well and it has much more support that my previously owned one and is very comfortable. I hate to say that only a little more time will tell, but that is where I am.

It's fine when I'm on my back but I often roll over onto my side when I am going to sleep. I was hoping I wouldn't feel the need to roll onto my side with this mattress because it would be so comfortable, but I do and when I do it feels like a rock - very uncomfortable. I weigh twice as much as my wife (she is about 130 and I am close to 260) so it probably makes a big difference as to why she thinks it's great and I don't. Planning on sending back and seeing if I can get her an XL Twin to put next to an XL Twin from a different company for me that's softer.
