We had a select comfort mattress for 16 years, and I still would wake up with achy hips and shoulders. My husband's back has been getting worse, so we decided to try the Purple mattress as it came highly recommended by my sister and her husband. We noticed a difference the first night! It's been two weeks and my hips haven't aches once! My husband with the bad back loves it too!! We highly recommend Purple!! :)

We are loving our Purple bed! It's so comfy and yet very supportive. Best bed we've ever slept on. Getting it upstairs wasn't too bad with the help of a buddy. Not sure what it'll be like in a move as it's not very sturdy unless it's laying flat... but this is a rare occasion. Highly recommend!

We had our old mattress for a year before my husband and I were walking up with pain, not sleeping well. It took us a bit to make a switch due to money, however I'm SO glad we did! It's firm but soft all at the same time! Love the firmness but how it cradles in all the right places.

I have had my share of experiences with mattresses ranging from those in high-end hotels to my personal mattresses. Of the latter, my last two were waterbed mattresses. The first was the full bladder type. After several years of use, growing discomfort and back pain, I changed to a waveless waterbed mattress. I never could get the mattress to the right firmness without ridges and valleys in the mattress and, consequently, the discomfort and back pains continued. Upon remodeling the bedroom, I decided to trash the waterbed mattress finally and began a search for a comfortable and decent mattress. I read reviews of others, looked for places to try mattresses out and struggle with how to address my wife's needs for firmness while meeting mine. One day my daughter-in-law suggested that I should look into the Purple mattress and mentioned something about an egg test. As I watched the videos, I could believe it was possible. However, the Purple mattress seemed to be the best possible solution. I must admit that being a geek in the sciences, mathematics, engineering and computer science had some influence, too. Our mattress arrived tightly packaged in a roll to which I couldn't believe this was a California King mattress. Amazingly, it expanded to fit the bed frame perfectly! It actually fits the frame far better than either of the waterbed mattresses. The first test of pressing on the mattress from the top was intriguing and surprising, but the sleep test was heavenly impressive! For the first time in a very long time, I was able to sleep through the entire night without needing moments of adjustments---this was just the first night. After several nights of the most comfortable sleep I have had in years, here is what I have found: 1. I sleep through the night as I mentioned earlier. 2. Back pains and leg pains are gone. 3. I don't wake with my limbs numb due to lying on them during my sleep. 4. Coupled with number 3 above, I can sleep through the night, awake fully rested all the while holding my wife all through the night---my arms aren't numb in the morning nor do I feel the need to adjust during the night. 5. My wife is quite comfortable with the mattress---one mattress to fit both needs. 6. It seems that there is less movement during our sleep as I often awake in the same position and place as I started---most likely due to less need for adjustments to be comfortable. These are the highlights. Overall, we awake fully rested without feeling groggy or unmotivated. I have come to love this mattress such that I am considering purchasing one for each of my children and their families. Oh, and by the way, we were tickled to find purple night masks with the mattress. Though we don't use them, it was a nice touch. Truthfully, we use the samples that came with the mattress, too, more to show others how our mattress the construction of the mattress.

When I purchased from purple I went all out getting the mattress mattress topper power base and pillow all of them are wonderful products. Its just extremely unfortunate that they have teamed up with a terrible shipping company like Old Dominian as THEIR customer service is terrible. The everything other than the power base came on time from another shipper but the power base came through Old Dominian and let me tell you thats the one thing the absolutely shouldn't have been in charge of the product was late I had to call several times to make sure it was on its way they said they called me when the driver arrived but I got no such call even though I took the time and wasted a whole day of vacation time to wait for the package. When they finally arrived it was 9:30 pm which meant I wasted a whole day of vacation for no reason and then the drive was very unprofessional cursing and throwing the product around and didn't even have the decency to help me carry it up the stairs of which through lots and LOTS of struggling I finally managed to get it into my apartment by myself. If it hadn't been for Old Dominian I would have given five stars for sure said they exist.

I have slept on many memory foam mattresses before, and still ended up tossing and turning all night. With the Purple mattress, I have had the best night sleep since I was a kid. I am always leery about mattresses since I have been burned many times. Buy this mattress! Get a good night sleep!

When the mattress got delivered and it was set up, I sat on the bed and instantly thought "oh no, what did I do?" Because it wasn't necessarily what I expected. This isn't a bed you can just sit or lay on and have an opinion about. You have to sleep on it to fully experience the mattress. I got the original Purple Mattress and I've been sleeping on it about 2 weeks now, and I couldn't be happier. I wake up feeling refreshed, not stiff or hurting at all, I've been happier overall. I have recommended this mattress to everyone to talk to now. It's a great conversation piece as well! I think I'll forever be a Purple customer!

First few nights I was like, "it's okay", but then the more I sleep in it the more I like it. I used to have these random pillows that I thought were too soft and didn't support my back, but the mattress has made my old pillows better. Customer service was awesome to work with, too. Definitely an interesting feel - side/back = soft and supportive, but if you sleep on your stomach the bed feels pretty firm!

I love my Purple 2 Queen bed! Having lived in student housing for 4 years on a double, this bed is welcomed change! I don't even want to leave my bed when I wake up in the mornings because it is such a great mattress and I have been getting such great sleep. My back pain is gone now and I fall asleep faster than I have ever before! I can now fall asleep in about 15 minutes and before It felt like an hour before I could sleep. This bed is extremely comfy and when you pair it with the sheets it's beyond amazing. Never getting another type of mattress again!
