I heard great things about the Purple mattress. I was off to a rough start as it was packaged seemingly backwards (cutting took was wrapped up in the middle of the mattress and it unrolled grey side up instead of grey side down). When I first laid on it I was shocked at how firm it was and was unsure if I would be able to sleep on it! I am a side sleeper and it hurt my shoulder. I read a little into it and discovered that if you are under 150lbs this mattress will be firm. I am under 150lbs. The best part about this mattress is that it truly does keep you perfectly cool all night long! I no longer sweat or have to turn the AC down super low. It has taken me about a month to get used to it but I do like it. I wouldn't say it's the best mattress I have ever slept on but then again I haven't found another one much better.

Took the mattress almost a month to arrive and was out for delivery for almost two weeks (Thanks FedEx). When the mattress finally arrived, it is the most uncomfortable mattress ever. I don't u errata do the hype. Definitely not worth the money I paid for it.

Wow, I purchased this mattress for my Dad who was moving in with me. He is WWII vet and has OA of the spine. Every day wakes up in NO pain, he said, "Deb I sleep like a baby". He feel like he is floating in the cloud.....Thank you, thank you. Wish you made the bed in full size. Also I told my boss about purple, now he just got one and loves it too. Thank again!

We decided on purple because so many reviews talked about it being much cooler to sleep on. Since we live in Florida we knew with the hot weather we did not want memory foam since that makes us hot. My favorite part of the mattress is how Amazingly cool it is. I use to sleep with just a sheet, but now I am cold because the mattress is so much cooler so i had to add a blanket. Before our purple mattress I was flopping like a fish and would have pain in my back only while sleeping. I no longer have back pain and am pleased with our purple origional mattress. The only additional comment I have is the origional is a little firmer than I expected. But I am sleeping through the night, not hot at all and no more back pain. So if that means a little firmer of a mattress then that is fine. Both side sleeper and back sleeper positions are comfortable on the purple mattress. (Have had mattress for 2 months now)

I purchased a few weeks ago and have never slept better. I am active person and my back and knees are always killing me. But since I have had the purple I'm able to get right out of bed in the morning and go. Used to take me 30 mins sitting on the edge of the bed before I could actually move. I highly recommend!!

Certain positions (more on one's stomach) tend to put strain on ligaments in the legs because there isn't enough weight to have the feet contact the mattress well. Maybe this goes away with the mattress breaking in some? Otherwise, feels like a "real bed", because of the responsiveness of the top layer.

I just finished my last payment on my queen purple that I bought a year ago to turn around and buy another mattress elsewhere. My husband and I wake up each morning aching and tired. We are both in the medical field and bought a purple because it was highly recommended by a family member. It was comfortable for 4 months and after that it literally turned into a nightmare to sleep on...the other sad part was that 100 days had passed...so we were stuck with it.. Well, here we are 1 year later and we are trashing it. We are so disappointed. Don't waste your money.

No seriously my old mattress was a double pillow top that was at least 10 years old and every day I woke up in extreme pain. I had seen the purple mattress and loved the concept of its new technology and went and test drove one at my nearest furniture store. My husband and I decided that we liked the original purple mattress the best and as soon as we had some extra money we would buy it. Well along came the stimulus checks and we decided let's buy American so we bought a purple Mattress. It was a win-win win all around. We love our new bed we love that we bought American and I love that I wake up every morning without lower back pain.

The jury is still out on it. I was very disappointed that they did not make the referral program known about before my purchase and when I called in, right after having completed my purchase, they said it was too late. As far as the mattress, we are not sure yet, still trying it out. There hasn't been an "ah ha" moment yet when either of us has woke up and said "That's the best night's sleep I've had in a long time." But it could happen!

I have converted to the belief in the one true god of semi-solid grid of purple goo that bestows upon all who lay upon it with delicious sleep. Comfort like I have never felt before, I welcome the inevitable bed sores with open arms as I know that the GRID will gently cradle them as it does all other parts of my body.
