We have 3 large breed dogs in our home. They LOVE Iams Chicken and While Grain dog food. Our senior dog is super picky and will only eat the mini chunks (even though she could eat the regular kibble size)...so mini chunks it is! We typically go through a 30lb bag in 2 weeks, so we always have it on autoship. We look for quality ingredients in foods for our fur babies and Iams was a good balance of ingredients and price point.

Usually I think that the big company, big manufacturing dog food isn't a very good quality. They typically use an abundance of artificial items - really obvious with the artificial colors. We know better than to go for that! Iams gives premium quality at a decent price point, so I can afford to feed it to my dog all of the time. I notice fewer bowel issues when we serve Iams.

I was excited to try this food out on our dog, as we use Iams for our cats, and they love it. We have a small dog, about 7 pounds, and we find that it's hard for her to eat food unless it's really small. She has no trouble eating this one! The only downside is that she still seems to prefer eating the cat's food, instead of her own Iams food. I'm not sure why.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was kind of scared to give my doggy this new brand of food to be honest. I was scared she wouldn't like it or it would irritate her stomach. I was proved wrong she gobbled it down and I have noticed the ingredients are better than what I was feeding her before so I am extremely happy about that. It makes me happy to know that I know what my pet is eating and I'm not just feeding her junk. The products will be bought again and I will recommend it to my friends as well. I love this recipe of dog food. It keeps my animals healthy and my female dog doesn't like large pieces of food so the chunk size is absolutely perfect for her! I only feed my animals Iams on a regular basis. I have tried other brands but none of them match up.

Very good product and I would recommend this product to anybodythere is nothing that could be done my dog loves this food is the only thing she'll eat probably doesn't be an improved I have a large dog and this is the one I feed her and I would recommend anybody a price range can be a little expensive but it's a very good dog food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the bag I was a bit skeptical on whether or not my dog would eat it. Personally it does not look very good. It looks like cheap dollar store dog food. I was afraid My dog would take one sniff and walk way. Well that wasn't the case to my surprise she loved it! I used the scooper that came with it and poured her a cup and she ate it all. Mind you my dog is a tea cup terrier so she only weighs 2LBS. I was very surprised she could or would eat so much in one sitting. I decided it would be a god idea to look at the ingredients. As most companies state its is made with real meat product and 90% of the time it I not. On the ingredient listing the first product that is used is Chicken. I was quite happy to see that. Then I continue reading and I get a bit ugh upset when I see Chicken By-Product Meal as the fourth ingredient. I continue reading and find such things as Flax Meal, Inositol and Pyridoxine Hydrochloride. As a pet "mom" these are some of the things you want to stay away from when choosing nutritious food for you beloved pet. I am completely turned off by the Chicken by-product meal. This is in no way health for my pet. I was really hoping this would be something I could continue to buy for her as she enjoyed it so much. Needless to say I will not be buying this product. I have always tried to feed my fur babies the same great quality food and not switch between brands. Iams was an exception because I had read and heard about all the good things that Iams has to offer and I really wanted my pets to have a good nutritious meal. My Bella had no problems with Iams whatsoever. She could eat it without having digestive issues. Her coat is shiny, her eyes just look brighter and she seems to have more energy than she did with her other food. I am definitely amazed at the transformation in her over the last year and will continue to feed her nothing but Iams. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family with fur babies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually Peaches just looks at her food and looks at me , like I'm not eating that.....but after a sniff and a lick she's in love....As soon as we are done with her morning walk she is ready for her Iams ProActive Health..She really seems to be enjoying it, usually with her old food she ate a few bites and then just waited to see what we were going to eat..Had no problem switching out the old food for the Iams Proactive Health...very happy that she is enjoying this food and getting all her essential nutrients... So glad we got to try this product, will be telling all my dog owner friends about it!!! Thank you Iams for making great tasting good for my doggie food!!!!

I think that Iams is a good quality dog food. I have several friends who have healthy teenage dogs that have always eaten Iams. I switched my dogs to Iams about a year ago and they really like it. I mix mini chunks with the healthy weight and there is no difference in the size the kibble. I would recommend this dog food.
