[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Dawn Platinum ever since it came out on the market. I especially love the Power Clean. This is truly a remarkable product. The cleaning power is unreal. No other dish detergent compares. A little goes a long, long way ! Really cleans the dishes fast with less scrubbing. I can put some in the dish water and immediately they are ready to wash....Hardly no scrubbing. Excellent on baked on food. Thank You for allowing me to do a review. This is the only dish liquid on the market today that I will purchase ! It's easy on my hands as well as being powerful !

Used dawn for years because it was the only soap with a scent that I could tolerate. Now that they've "updated" the scent I can't stand it. It makes me physically ill. According to dawns website there aren't any free and clear unscented products in my area (metro MN) either

She was using the dish soap and a spray on grease releasing product made by Dawn and I really was impressed by how well it worked on baked on grease so I started using it and now we have been using the platinum ever since it came out and it works fantastically by the way I am a 65 year old housewife who has tried and used a lot of different products in my life. but now I only recommend Dawn and their products , My daughter-in-law likes that you support wildlife and so do I.....KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK .......thanks Denise

Nothing beats the cleaning power of Dawn and I have used it exclusively for decades, the new platinum scent is overbearing and lingering. Smelling of green tea, dirt and baby powder I assumed I got a bad bottle but it appears this is the new scent formulation. Some people might like it but its a little misleading when you have been buying a product for years in the same scent and then suddenly its completely different, why not just make a new scent line instead of replacing what was so good before? Again, it cleans wonderfully still, but the scent lingers and is off putting if you were expecting the old scent. I will be switching to the original from now on because this scent just doesn't work for me even though I prefer the platinum line for the increased cleaning.

I’ve been using Dawn Platinum for 7-8 years now. I loved it (5 star quality). However, within the last 2-3 years I’ve noticed a change in the product. There is a 50% decrease in its strength and effectiveness. I used to dilute it as it was highly concentrated. Now, when I dilute it, the liquid barely produces suds. I go through a bottle much more quickly than the previous Dawn Platinum. Did the formula change?

Dawn always does the job for me. But this Ultra Platinum kicks butt. I only need a tiny tiny amount and it cuts through oils and grease. It’s more expensive than some of the other brands but it’s so concentrated, lasts a good while. And it smells so good!

Dawn new scent is terrible! The scent is an assault to my senses. I can taste it in my food when using pans and utensils washed with the new scent soap even when thoroughly rinsing with hot water. I will be switching products. Bring the original scent back and have the new scent as an option. Ick! I wouldn’t be washing wildlife with that scented soap. Why did you have to change a good product. Whoever came up with this idea of the scent change should be fired.

Dawn cleans great, we all know it. They are the undisputed dish cleaning champion. However, I am here regarding the updated 'fresh scent'. It makes me sick. I do not buy Palmolive because of the smell. I thought I bought the wrong thing on accident because Dawn has a lovely clean smell and always has. Not anymore! I looked at the bottle to check, and sure enough they updated it and it's bad! I may have a sensitive nose, but I enjoy good smelling things plenty. This is NOT it. Please go back to the tried and true scent of Dawn. I'm literally gagging at the overpowering smell of this 'improvement'. Why yes! It is that bad. I will be finding a different brand unless they fix it. I cannot take the smell. Yuck!

I have been impressed with every type of dish soap I buy from Dawn and this is no exception! It works great to get off grease and get dishes/ hands clean! It breaks down grease quickly so you’re not just creating a big grease mess while trying to get your dishes clean. This a huge plus for me. A little also goes a long way. You don’t need a lot making the product actually last a while.

Dawn has been my favorite dishwashing liquid forever! It smells great, is cost effective and really cuts through the grease. A little goes a long way. If I get a stain on my clothes or my couch I put a little bit of Dawn on a wet rag and rub the spot and it’s gone!
