Let me start off with the large style bottle, this is exactly how I purchase my dish soap. It’s great for refilling my soap dispenser. The pour spout also makes that easy. It also helps with removing strong odors , which is something that i sometimes struggle with . I make meals that contain a lot of seasoning and spices and they smell strongly , but dawn dish soap always removes strong stains and odors. I really appreciate the refill size . It is a 2 liter , 68 fl ounce soap . Enough to last a good 3-5 months for me ! The consistency is liquid and i do add water to make it foamy enough to clean enough and all my dishes . I have been buying this dish soap for several years because I place it under my sink and have a hose that goes to a built-in pump next to my faucet for dish soap. The new design of the lid (a big, gaping hole) does not work with my soap dispenser. I had to dump the whole new bottle into the old bottle to make it work. The new design is stupid, most people are not refilling small bottles- they use it right out of the large bottle. It's obvious from the reviews that lots of people are not happy about this change.
